I have been selling and fitting these high quality kits for over 3 years now however never thought to advertise it on this site due it being notorious for its prestige. However I have noticed that more and more people are requesting for HIDs and want to fulfill this market. Although some may say they are illegal, tatty etc... I normally do not fit them to cars without projecter lenses which doesnt scatter beams ultimately failing MOTs. I do have a MOT spec beam setter but unfortunately no space to operate it in my weedy household garage.

Prices are as follows:

Single beam HID kit which includes 2 Ballasts, 2 Bulbs, all wires and mounting plates - £80

Double beam HID kit (Only in H4-2) which includes 2 Ballasts, 2 Bulbs (each with dipped and main in one), all wires and mounting plates - £110

ECU Bulb Fault Canceller (normally for Mercedes, BMW and Volvos - £20 (pair)

Fitting, I am willing to fit systems you have purchased yourselves - £30 When buying my kit - £20

Ballast and Bulbs can be sold separately however prices alter.

i bought a kit off ebay for £45 for the misus Mini..... whats the difference between yours and this likely to be
 
The bases of the bulbs are all metal, all plastics are to a high quality grade and you get a 1 year warranty which i will extend for audi-sport friends! Plus a smile :happy:
 
Dude, what are the standard S3 xenon bulbs, and will newer ones make the light emitted any better???

Also if they do, how much could you do me a pair fitted for??

I have an s3 with xenons, but of course its only xenon dip beam. can you do an upgrade to make the main beam xenon too, if so can it be used with the stock lamps, wiring etc?z
 
No its not possible unless you have a H4 bulb, Reason being that when these bulbs fire up they start then get brighter to its maximum, Say you flash someone to pass they wont realise until it charges up fully...Also flashing does damage Xenon systems, I would recommend superbright bulbs for your main beam!
 
Hey fella. Have you spoken to OllyK about advertising on here? The mods don't take too kindly to people using the forum for free advertising..the companies you see advertising here like DPM and Awesome actually pay good money to be able to do so.

Just a little heads up before you get your wrists slapped!

Ah yes I did hear this its a problem with the canbus system overloading on the 8Ps when taking the power to ignite...Thanks for the heads up mate! Not a problem with the older wiser 8Ls!

This whole new CAN-BUS everything is just another way for people to not modify cars. But as the other thread recommends OSRAM nightbreakers honestly I would too its just not worth the hassle...
 
As long as you get the ones from an A3 not an S3 it should be fine, it would take me no longer then one sunny day! The HID prices are as above but for the headlight fitting ill have to let you know as it will involve cutting part of the wing and cutting and joining up a new wiring loom...Thanks for the interest mate!

Nice one mate. Think this forum needs a HID specialist. Been looking at the amount of posts purely on HID/XENON and it's a fair few lol.

My question:

I have an S3. 2001 MY so fitted with HID.

Q. What are the standard bulbs D2S or D2R?
Q. What is the standard colour temperature in Kelvin? 4300k?

I remember the BMW 7 series when HID first came out. Had a slight purple hue to it and looked awesome.

Q. Can i replicate the look of the 7 series with the purple hue?
Q. Would i loose much light as it must be higher up the Kelvin rating to get the purple?
Q. How muh would those ^^ bulbs be if you could get them?
Q. What warranty comes on the bulbs?
Q. What make are they?

I have other friends interested in HID's - so could possible help you out somewhat! :)

Q. Would i loose much light as it must be higher up the Kelvin rating to get the purple? You would lose a minute amount of light from the bulbs but as they will be brighter it wont be noticable.
Q. How muh would those ^^ bulbs be if you could get them? £40 fitted
Q. What warranty comes on the bulbs? 1 year with manufacturer and i will help you out for another year if needed.
Q. What make are they? A german company produces them but doesnt brand them, however these items are the same as the ones provided for Hexagon and Stephen James groups BMWs.

How much for you to send me the bulbs? Would 8000k be better for visuals again? I'm looking for something a little different from all the other xenon Peugeot 106 GTI's around here. Chavtastic taffs i call them lol

8000k Would make alot bluer, and you will get less intensive light...Price will depend on you post code mate... PM me please!
 
Just a little update.....I have been mega busy with the stinkin' A3 everything seems to be going wrong just as I plan to give it to my sister! So anyone that has PM'd me I will be responding tomorow (friday)...Sorry for the delays and thanks for the interest!
