I said about part number 06B121133D and he said it had been superseded by (I think?)- part number 06B121132D
Couldn't wait for Autodoc - sometimes took ages to turn up.
Had to bite the bullet and order it from an Audi garage, at least it's genuine parts.
Think I just paid 10 quid for a rubber f*ckin O ring though
I've been trying to get a replacement coolant flange and anything i can get quickly seems to be for a transverse fitted engine, is the flange definately different for an A4 engine ?
I think i've worked out that its either 06B121133D or 06B121132E or 06B121132B part number.
Don't know where you can buy one sorry.
I unplugged mine a few times and suddenly everything worked !
I would unplug it and reconnect it, delete fault codes and start again.
Ok - for completeness........
I didn't buy a couple of second hand yaw control units - I bought a couple of second hand control units that are under the rear seat in a B6. These are 'yaw control units' for the alarm system .
Tried my hardest to clear various codes and just about to give...
Well oddly enough I had one last fiddle before flogging the car cheap. Somehow fixed it this morning, all error messages gone (for now), keeping my fingers crossed until the MOT on Monday !!
Nice to know there is somebody nearby though for the future .
Thanks for replying to the thread
Well ECU back in, all working together again.
It just seems to be a Rotation Rate Sensor 01542 (Yaw control unit ?) And sometimes 01425 Wiring Reference to that unit.
Bought two second hand yaw control units but made no difference.
Could it just be the wiring to this unit causing all this grief ?
Been having lots of dashboard lights recently - all to do with ABS/TC/ESP/Brakes.
Had ECU from the ABS repaired and sent back. Initially had all sorts of error messages about 'cant communicate with ABS module', etc, so sent it back but they say they could find no issue with it.
It's been...
Apparently according to the ECU repair company, coding is not affected. I'm awaiting the return of the unit today so we'll see how it goes !
I've only got an OBDeleven scanner but should be able to tell if it's missing the coding even if I can't update it
Ah interesting thanks - I'll have to call them.
Think it just said that it couldn't read the ABS module therefore threw up all the braking messages imaginable !!
Had the ECU of my ABS pump sent away and returned - a couple of errors were found with it, rebuilt and returned.
The original couple of erroneous messages have disappeared but found a couple of news ones, was dealing with those when everything went haywire ! I have every warning light to do with...
Anybody find that the washer fluid only makes it about a third of the way up the windscreen ?! It doesn't seem to have enough 'oomph' to get it any further !
Is there a more powerful pump ?
