After trying to pinpoint the source of a ticking / hissing noise from the top right of my A6 C7 3.0TDI + slight smell of fumes in the cabin at points, I decided to remove the injector seals today. 6 copper seals + o-rings bought from Germany (was around 1/4 of the price of Audi) and fitting...

I think I may have the same fault... How did you diagnose the injectors?

Hi All, I noticed I slight hissing from my engine bay at idle and, upon having a look today, have found that both sides appear to be leaking oil at what looks like the value covers. Can anyone confirm if this is a usual problem on this car and how easy it is to sort? The hissing appears...

you can get it from GSF or Eurocarparts but the delaers will prob only be about £20/£25 quid so i would go there and get the genuine part tbh!! Andy

either the cigarette lighter or the pernament live on the back of the stereo are your best bets Andy

its more a juddering from left to right of the car...its hard to explain but the easiest way i can describe it is like when u slide on gravel when on full lock!! Cheers, Andy

When i put full lock on in my A3 1.8T sport, the car feels as tho it judders or bounces round instead of being nice and smooth. It mainly happens when reversing out my drive, feels as tho there are small stones beneath the wheels and makes a sound as if its juddering (you can feel it as well)...

Hey, wee problem on my 1999 A3 1.8t sport (with climate control). The temp guage decided to pack in (not moving) and the climate control is not blowing warm air.... any ideas? thermostat?? If so, how easy is it to change? Cheers, Andy

i replaced mine last week, concert 2 part number 8z0 035 186 into my 1999 A3 sport. Wouldnt come out of safe mode so bought the canbus interface and works spot on....paid £150 for two dellivered from Germany (as postage was the same) so if anyone wants the other one they can have it for £70...
