    slightly off topic but has anybody thought about changing the MAF for say an 80mm one? obviously the map would need altering to suit but would it be worth it? i know the VX lads used to change from the 70mm on the astra gsi to the 80mm one from the vxr

    cheers, i did wander whether it was the colour of the plastic or if it had been painted ill just have to see if i can get a close colour match, probably a matt grey

    @warren, thanks i will try these once i get home next week, @s. thats a possibility mate, if so then happy days but i would still like to investigate all posibilities just to make sure and put my mind at rest :icon_thumright:

    im on a 2 on 3 off rota so the car is used quite frequently during the 3 weeks at home, milage is around 2.5k if i remember correctly
