Hi all,
I have long since sold my 1999 Audi A3 1.8 Quattro T-Sport, but have some unused parts left to sell that I never got around to fitting. They are the following:
- Full set of Forge red turbo hoses.
- Full set of Forge black coolant system hoses.
- Good quality EBay intercooler...
Hi guys,
I have noticed that my front drivers tyre appears slighty flatter than the rest.
Now, I run standard 16" alloys with radial tyres so I know it is normal for them to look as if they are flat but should there be a difference in appearance between the o/s front and n/s front tyre. I have...
Exactly the same problem my friend. I work with a lot of brand new cars which really highlights the difference in performance of air conditioning between my 14 year old A3 and those. I get warm air at best from mine - absolutely killer in this weather :(
Get some spacers to push the wheels out to the arches. Nothing stupid though. I think it just gives the car a fatter stance - works especially well with smaller wheels. I always think the standard A3 body with a standard track looks like a bodybuilder with a small willy.
I have exactly the same problem mate. I have had the thermostat and coolant temperature sensor changed - both were faulty in their own right. I have also very recently had a major service at my local specialist (done to Audi spec). The maf has been changed halfway through the life of the car and...
Hello everyone,
in the spirit of the forum, I thought that I should finally start my own build thread for my project. My car is an A3 Quattro T Sport. The car has a genuine 88000 on the clock with a full service history - part Audi main dealer, part independent specialist.
I love the quality...
Thanks tuffty,
I shall have a look tomorrow when I get the car back. It's staying overnight at the specialist, and so I'm temporarily rolling around in a Seat Ibiza - not a great look for a 6' 5" bloke lol
Hi guys,
My car has gone in to an Audi specialist today for a major service, a clean up of the throttle body, and a replacement thermostat.
All is well except for that the specialist is being unable to connect to the car's ECU. This is strange because the car was only with them two weeks ago...
Try Mike Stokes Motorsport in Bournemouth mate, they do Powerflow and a guy by the name of Jon Priestly builds the systems. He's the mutt's nuts - what he can't build aint worth building lol. He has a real talent for building symmetrical systems, the welds are tip top and he can build pretty...
Please forgive me if I am being a pain in the **** by asking this question but am I correct in thinking that the turbo used for the AJQ engine is the K03-035 and that this turbo is commonly referred to as the K03s. I'm pretty sure this is the case but just need a quick confirmation as I am...
Might be an idea to have your alignment checked - would be interesting to see what measurements you get. Any misalignment might indicate that something is bent, out of place, excessively worn, or combination of. Might also be worth getting a competent VAG specialist to pop the car on the ramps...
