Haha I do watch vag technic and I agree it scares the hell out of me. I wouldn't be buying an S4 for mpg and as long as high 20s are achievable then it's not an issue. I just want something with less added systems that can potentially go wrong like dpfs and adblue and mild stupid hybrid...

Any update on this mate? My 50tdi A6 is with audi at the moment after the alternator failed last weekend. Lost everything in the space of about 300yards. Car died on a country road and had to be recovered [emoji22] waiting for warranty department at audi uk to decide if they'll cover the costs...

To be honest mate my 50tdi doesn't do that. Seems yours is holding onto the gears far too long. Mine is well in 4th before 30mph. Changes from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd aren't exactly smooth but mine doesn't rev up like yours. I don't think that's right Sent from my SM-S901B using Tapatalk
