Carbond works really well as long as you have the skirts firmly in place whilst it dries. I used carbond on the front splitter of my old M3, even at 160mph it didn't rip off.

I used fuse 18 and a piggy back fuse on the front, it's easier and not like you'll see it once it's all put back together. Plus the cabling behind the fusebox is pretty tight.

I'd advise not bothering with any AliExpress cameras. I fitted one, worked first time, I was really impressed, only to notice the picture is wonky.

How did it come out? Do you literally just pull it? I tried that, and the tab snapped off :( If the complete bar pulls out, great, I'll order another.

Thanks. I have found a good way of doing it. 1st release the locking slider and then using a cable tie of fuse pin width, poke it through the fuse box where the fuse terminal is to go, and push the fuse terminal onto the cable tie. The cable tie guides the pin into the correct place.

I'm just about 75% through this retrofit, all I have left to do is pin up the ABS module. It's ******* down with rain now so that's a job for another day, plus I have to have my car drivable for work and so I have put the interior all back together. I plan to do the rest on a nice weather day...
