    Question to anyone with a auto A4, I am thinking of getting a re map to my 1.8t b7 auto to try and improve the response when accelerating, obviously being an auto it's very sluggish, just want to know if a remap will help?

    Problem sorted now, company removed arms and replaced with audi ones and creaking has gone completely also they found my sub frame, audi had replaced the bush in 2012 but put the washer on wrong so this could have caused some noise as it was rubbing between bushe and chassis of car. Lesson...

    Yeah I have found a lot on Internet about new arms being badly greeced up, I'll let the garage fit new oem arms and go from there, just hope it is otherwise I think this could turn expensive.

    Most carbon wrap vinyl nowhere days Is bubble free, basically has small channels in glue to help stop bubbles, 3M is most expensive but companies like metalmark, hexis, ritarama, total wrap all are as good, most have same look too.

    After doing alot of searching I think I'll run with 321mm x 30mm discs and matching branded pads, just have to decided who now, zero sixty, brembo, ebc or tarox.

    managed to get hold of a set of 996 front calipers now just need to source discs, need either 330mm x 28mm or 30mm pcd 112, does anyone know or recommend discs and pads? heard to use ferodo ds2500?

    what brembo calipers have i been given?

    I tested them and they were huge, stuck out past wing by inch, on eBay now so looking at 996 calipers but struggling to find what discs to run, have read about doing cayenne calipers as they bolt straight to Audi a4 b6 hubs?? Anyone had any experience doing Porsche brake upgrades?
