Yeah, pretty much a halfway point there.
I lived in Lancaster from age 2 to 22, so I've been a southern fairy for 13 years now.
Lots of pros and cons for the north and south.
My dad used to call in to Chorley a lot when he was a fire officer.
So glad that the smaller (often more vital) charities are being considered for once.
Huge corporate monsters/businesses like CRUK have more millions than they know what to do with.
Yep, I'm a big recycling fan.
I recycle every possible thing I can, and luckily we have an enthusiastic council and great amenity tip just down the road.
I compost tons of stuff too.
So sorry to hear of all your losses and that your family friend have been diagnosed :(
