Stoke Audi had them for not too bad a price I seem to remember, I bought some new from there as I wanted them to match properly (because i'm anal like that).
well I didn't know what else to do! It's only £20 anyway, and I was pretty sure it hasn't leaked as I'm sure I'd have noticed £40 of fuel under my car.
Bizarre one today with the car. I put £30 of fuel in this morning and probably drove about 40 miles, the distance on the computer read about 170miles left and when I got home read about 135miles, so nothing wrong then. I then parked the car at home, and left it until this evening, just got in to...
You don't need to prise off the trim, just pull the door rubber back and slide it behind the trim that way, much less hassle. The door rubber comes off so easily and just pushes back on - don't bother pulling trim off unless you really have to.
I did this to install my Parrot HF and it was the...
Turns out I had a faulty N75 valve, it's not only cured the problem I had with the surging but the boost now holds much better and more consistently through the revs....great little fix that one!
Mine both do it, I found the cure is to raise the bolster height slightly from the bottom, as the creaking only happens when the seat is done at it's lowest point on mine.
My current annoyance is the glovebox and door cards creaking and rattling....drives me insane!
I received a refund from Admiral when I swapped my policy from my XJR to the S3 last year, and i'm sure its not the first time i've seen it.
Personally i'd declare the A3 SORN if you're not going to drive it and keep it somewhere secure until you sell it. Failing that, if you really need to...
I have to agree, as much as the car looks great on the wheels (and my fav colour for an S3 too) I can't believe you've spent all that money on a car, and new wheels, and then bought the cackest tyres money can buy...i'd rather save a bit of money on the wheels and get some good boots...
George Orwell was right, he was a pretty smart (and brave) fella.
I don't think this is scaremongering though, I thinks there is some genuine moves to try and regulate what people do with their cars. The issue is more about how and if they can be bothered to implement it fairly and efficiently...
Well changing the oils is quite an easy job, and worth doing if it hasn't been done for a while. In fact it's quite common to find Haldex has been completely neglected if the car hasn't been serviced by Audi or a specialist that know what they are doing.
Its unlikely to be the wheel bearing if it's under load, you normally hear them when either under lateral pressure (round a corner) or when cruising.
I'd try plugging the hole in the exhaust quickly with a bit of paste and see if that changes things, then you'd know (thats not my idea of a...
We're all there buddy, but just because it's considered by a few of us as a hobby and that an industry exists around it doesn't make much difference unfortunately.
I think what a lot of people fail to understand is that cars are actually pretty dangerous in the wrong hands, or even in the right...
