Put it into to Google and you will see the deal is done

All my life i've waited for this moment and now it has arrived :D

What I always think is funny, they always sack the manager, but never look at the actual nancy boys who fall over a blade of grass, as they're predominantly responsible for bad play no matter what the manager tells them to do, some of these socalled players are shockingly ****, aswell as ridiculously overpaid, bring back Vinnie & Pearce, real tough footballers not these ponce guys who are more worried about there hair than there play & have an ounce of integrity & morality.

Albeit Vinnie liked grabbing ******, but hey everyone to there own lmfao.

On the Liverpool website is says hes being offered severance pay so he hasn't gone just yet

the game is more complicated than just the players playing their game Nigel

He must have been laughing the day he walked out of the office with his agent.
Thinking that no matter what i do over the next few years, i will get 16million.

It seems criminal to rip that kind of a money out of a club that you have not performed at and need to be sacked from.

I assume the severance term is the legal way of saying your sacked we don't want you, i can only guess that the lawyers for Benitez wanted that added as well. Perhaps potential new owners wanted this Benitez mess sorted before any further talks would go ahead. If i was buying Liverppol i would want that "personnel" issue sorted before hand too.

I don't know why i care, i don't even like Liverpool..

I cannot stand football, i really cannot abide it, it is the biggest load of b*****s known to man.

I actually think that football is slowing down or has stopped the evolution of the human being, especially the male species.

I mean think about it, how has the game actually evolved....it has`nt, in fact it gets more corrupt by the day, football is no longer about football, football is about money and showing off who has the biggest bank balance and the most expensive cardboard cutout players.

The majority of the male species who predominantly watch football are being taken back to a competitive, pre-caveman state, where they want to win, fight and eat.

You only have to look at the amount of thick, demented, mindless thugs that this game breeds on a daily basis, you watch some of the violence that football bring and its like the middle ages, now im not saying everyone is like this because thats not the case but how many other sports do you see people rioting in the streets and attacking cars just because they have a red flag in.

So how are they evolving?, you can pretend all you like that there is strategy and skill, but how usefull is keepy ups on a desert island or when your plane crashes in the jungle...but i suppose this does not matter when you have £100,000 or more being paid into your back pocket every week.

So like i say the human race is going backwards, its about time football was about the sport and less about wags, money, fame and fortune.

I would love to see some of these overpaid, self righteous, planks live on £300 a week, if they were paid a normal wage like most other people then football would have its soul back.

The only time i actually watch football is the world cup and pretty much only watch england, purely because i like my country and want to see how well we are doing. But other than that im not really insterested in the premier league of money!

At the end of the day football is a game and its as simple as that, ruined by money.

Im sure most people will disagree but who gives a s***t, if you dont like my comments then im glad because i have every right to fight the propaganda machine that is football and say that as a man i dont have to like what you want me to like, why should i be forced to play football at school just because im a boy?

Although i have to admit i dont mind playing football..but does not mean i have to watch or support it in anyway, im sure i would enjoy playing down my local park for £100,000 a week.

Oh....and who is benitez?

That's twice you've called me that, the first time for no reason whatsoever.
(Maybe read the conversation which lead to your first session of name calling again. A perfectly polite, reasonable AND correct response to something you posted... http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthread.php?97875-Fun-with-a-130i&p=1001639#post1001639 ).

Liverpool FC today confirmed that Rafael Benitez is to leave the club by mutual consent.

Mr Benitez relinquishes his position as team manager after six years and the Board of Directors would like to place on record their grateful thanks for his services and wish him all the best in his future career.

The Board has now asked Managing Director Christian Purslow, with the assistance of Club Ambassador Kenny Dalglish, to begin a formal search to identify and assess potential candidates for the managerial position.

No timescale has been placed on the process and Liverpool FC will make no further statement until a new manager is appointed.

LFC Chairman Martin Broughton said: "Rafa will forever be part of Liverpool folklore after bringing home the Champions League following the epic final in Istanbul but after a disappointing season both parties felt a fresh start would be best for all concerned.''

Rafael Benitez said: "It is very sad for me to announce that I will no longer be manager of Liverpool FC. I would like to thank all of the staff and players for their efforts.

"I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager.

"Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."
