Hi everyone,
My name is Alex and I come from Romania (Bucharest).
Last year in November, I've traded my '08 Candywhite MKV GTI (moded to 290 HP) for a '11 Sprintblue S3.

Spec highlights of the car :

3 door
6 MT
Sunroof
Flat bottom MFSW
Leather/Alcantara black&silver (in the reality it looks like white)
Rear parking aid
Cruise control
...

Mods so far :
H&R Springs
19" RS6 Style Wheels with 235/30 tyres
TBE Milltek Exhaust
Optics front Grill
75% tint
Blue brake calipers (Foliatec)

What I would like to do in the future:

- carbon interior trim
- coilovers
- RS3 bodykit conversion
- bucket seats (oem or recaro sportster cs)
- remap
- intake
- 19" BBS

I'll post some pics later

sounds like a nice car mate, get some pics up...

I's like to do the RS3 front end, its going to be pretty costly from what I've heard. Think i would rather buy a TTRS!

you should go for the remap and intake first though, but you might want to add a Sachs clutch into the equation :icon_thumright:

I am sure there was a post on here with the prices for the rs3 kit
Something in the region of 15k to get it all ?
Pics needed?

Sounds like a great spec. and some great mods so far but we are in much need of pictures.

Yeah I remember seeing that post, may well be in the original RS3 thread when it was announced? Can anybody justify that much on a body kit, really?

sounds like a awesome car you have there but in my opinion dont do the rs3 bodykit keep it oem resale value might be damaged if you do but thats just my opinion mate , get some pics up of your car as it is now

I haven't posted since a while.
Some things happened during this time ...
First of all, I've bought some BBS CH Wheels 8Jx19 ET 50, but after 2 months decided to sold them, because they didn't offered me the look that I was trying to get. I've also decided that this year I should go for some TT-RS Wheels (because they have 9J, RS3 has 8J). Then the car got remaped by Revo, directly with Stage 2 ... I think Audi should offer the S3 directly with this power output from the factory :)) ... Last month I've ordered the EvoMS Vflow Intake, but didn't istall it until now due to missing time and very cold weather here in Romania.
Mods to come in the near future:
- RS3 front grill (it's a must have after seeing Paulie's S3)
- Coilovers (because with the current setup the car is quite bumpy)
- bucket seats (I've always wanted that mod ... I'll have to chose between Sportster CS and OEM ... but OEM are very very expensive)

Keep us informed on how the car handles the Stage 2 map on the stock clutch. Want to gauge how long it will last as if good for 15-20k miles then Stage 2 Shark for me. Love the 2 tone leather.

I've been running stage 2 on the stock clutch for about 9 months and about 10k kms.
Overall, car has travelled 43k kms.

I think the trouble comes from Stage 2+ but I've heard it going for others sooner.

Alex, I know your car from vwgolf.net, very nice my friend.
