AITP Camping list

I'm phoning to book camping tomoro.
Me and my fine lady.
Think il set off in the morning so il be there hopefully easy before 12 on sat.
Im just praying i get some car cleaning time this week, rained today, i want 3 days to get stuf cleaned polished and some painting done.
dont forget tha spoons scott!

If you happen to spot a very confused bristolian driving a B5 avant, its properly me.

The spoons are in the box with westy's pink callipers.
 
Food question for all the campers.
I understand there is a BBQ for ASN on the sunday but whats the general thought on food for saturday?
I know Drmole said about pizza, i'm all for that, what about everyone else?

Waitrose near me is selling ostrich eggs. Theses things are massive, they take about 90mins to hard boil and will feed about 15 people.
I don't mind picking one up for the weekend if there is any one who is confident enough cook to cook this egg in an omelette or some form of egg based meal?

I dont think we'll find a pan big enough to make an omlette out of an egg that size lol.

I'm all for pizza, or huge eggs or anything. My mate is bringing a camping stove with him too.

Got the stove now just needs an ostrich egg, ham, cheese, onion and a large frying pan. :)

Camping stove + cool box with bacon, eggs and beer/cider and maybe a bottle of coke :)
 
I think we might have a little portable bbq, not a cheapo one that sets fire to the grass so I can bring that if I can find it

I've got cool bag with beer and BBQ meats, also football, jack, axel stands, and half an S3 in parts!

I dont mind having a go at a massive omlette if we have a big enough pan. Maybe I should bring a wok :think:

I'll get the egg in the next couple of days.
Not sure what food I can bring. I might have to stop off on the way up and pick something up.

trouble is im a welsh monster who needs a good bar with a restauraunt next to it with a shower and most importantly a big huge toilet for my massive *** to sit on after 8 pints and a 20oz mixed grill lol

i would love to camp one day but i can afford the hotel as its only £25 premier inn, just out of curiosity how much do they charge to camp then?

Camping is £20.
Its not the money its the company and the entertainment, thats what its all about.

I bet they wont have any Leek and Cranberry Caerphilly Strudel, Leek and Stilton Soup, Leek and Emmental Hot Cheese Soufflé or Mousseline of Leek and Smoked Trout.

its me and the mrs and we always go dutch so everything is split in half, the hotel is actually £58 so ok its £29 so thats £9 more than camping and i get the shower and a nice comfy bed.

can you imagine my big *** sleeping on the grass snoring and upsetting the other campers with my naked sleep walking, now that is one scary *** sight so i could have been banned from the site lmao.

in all seriousness i would love to camp as i do like camping its just that i like the hotel more when doing the shows.

i would have camped but dont own any kit and me buying the gear would cost alot more than the hotel. i hope you lot do have fun though and it sounds a great time with drink, BBQ good food and great company.

look forward to seeing everyone and finding out how the night went on

I got two tents, could have borrowed one. :)

Depending on the distance of the hotel from the camp site, there is no reason why you can't enjoy the camping experience with out the tent hassle.
 
I'm getting some nice smoked bacon from the butchers om nom nom
 
maybe even some Local Gloucester old spot sausages mmmm

We'll let you off dude, I went on safari in south africa a while back and the place we were staying were using Ostrich eggs as decoration. One of them exploded because inside was so rotten and the smell was horrendous! :puke:
 
Its off due to no stock and Dane now grossing everyone out. lol
I phoned about 6 stores up from plymouth to kettering and none of them has any in stock.
