Hi all,

Well i traded in my A3 for an A4 2.0tdi estate s-line with a view to towing a caravan in the near future.

A few points that surprised me about the new one are:

1. The equipment list is far less that the A3. Slightly disapointing, even small things like pockets on the back of seats are not there.

2. I thought the car would feel taughter being the s-line but not too sure.

I am having her re-maped on friday to pep her up as the last two cars I had done and worth every penny. She has the RNS sat nav fitted and after using a Tom TOm for years am looking for a double din unit with sat nav to replace it with Tom tom software as find the unit dvd based very slow, user unfriendly and no speed camera points. It does not have the phone unit installed either and price of the plug in unt is just a laugh. A new unit with USB, 6cd, SD card, Satnav, DVD and bluetooth phone is cheaper that the phone modual on its own!

Am looking to having a towbar fitted. I live in Stafford, if anyone has any recommendations in this area would appreciate them. Also looking to change the light units in the future to LED front and rear, are there any folk beside the dealers in the staffs area that do the job and re-coding for not quite so stupid money?

Sorry for my ramblings and thanks for an tips.

You need to fit an RS4 rear anti roll bar.

Yeah, cos that'll help not only with your equipment list, it'll tighten up your rear end :salute:

They're about £80 from Audi and take about an hour to swap......

Cheers folk. Sounds like a good simple fix to make her taughter. I have an MX5 MK1 which is like a go kart and though I cannot ever replicate that it does give me an idea how a car can corner. Will put that one on my list.

Thanks again...
