F1 Season 2011

See Massa's head tilt to watch in his mirror and see where Hamilton is. Stewards decision I think underlines this.

Massa wasn't even able to learn from his mistakes of yesterday on the kerbs, so he's hardly a faultless benchmark of excellence. Probably started when Hamilton took the title in Brazil a good few years back, and will rumble on; and on, and on...........

LOL never mind. Hopefully Ramilton will have yet another year like this year that shows buttin putting him to shame and then ramilton will quit..Woot Woot :)

lewis is a knob head who needs a slap

Was listen to the race on five live as we were driving up to york, glad to see Button (or hear) make a great start after struggling on Saturday. Fingers is just annoying me now, fair play to Alonso, cant stand his actions of the track but there no doubting his driving skills, glad he held of Webber. Now Lewis has done some stupid things this season, but the accident yesterday was all Massa fault, and im glad Lewis is still trying to race, which is what I waat to see at the end of the day, not just fingers leading from start to finish unchallanged.

Agree with track No.10 too

to make it interesting they shoul.d have a random shuffle of the grid lol so then if fingers as people call him gets on pole there might be a chance he could be shuffled all the way down to 10th. now obviously this will never happen as there is way too much money involved but i thunk it would be good to see vettel come from 10th on the grid and fight his way through the likes of schumey, lewis and alonso

That would sure make it a bit more interesting.

Interesting but pointless. If you have a fast car, you look supreme. His car is the fastest so he would easily over take cars to get even from 22nd to first. DRS and Kers ontop of it being the fastest car ouf of the other 20 then yeah it would be easy.

Have a look through F1 history and every world champs team mate is close to the top if not second. Then look to were they are once they left that team or just before they joined and they would be no were...

true....... i really do hope though we are not going to see another schumey/ferrari wipeout. the last couple of raqces have been boring imo and with abu dhabi up next it doesnt look like the next oine will be full of classic moments(i could and want to be wrong)

im most looking forward to next year now and seeing if other teams can compete with red bull

Completely agree with you there. There is nothing worse in any kind of sport than knowing the outcome or more or less before it starts. I mean why would anyone find horses racing interesting when you already knwo who will win. Its not what sport IMO is all about. Sport compititions should be about edge of the sofa moments and not knowing the outcome, Being on a level playng field. That is exciting sport in my mind.

If next year turns out to be yet another one horse race then i will have to seriously consider watching some other form of motor sport.

I also think that if adrian newy was outta the equation then the sport would be a whole different ball game. Would love to see one finger boy and horners face then. They would be no were at all.

this is why i watch touring cars as its not always a one horse race. i can understand why the boys in F1 want to be on top as the money that comes with it is major and everyman for himself. lets hope next year is a bit more exciting as all this year has been about for me is vettel dominating, hamiltons downfall and sky so not really a good year in F1 for me

Read today that Rosberg is being lined up to replace Massa next season.

Everyone has been linked to replace felipe. From nico to lewis to webber to my nans cat.

Nico Rosberg has denied suggestions he is close to switching to the Ferrari Formula One team.

It is believed the German remains under contract to Mercedes through next season, but speculation has linked him with Felipe Massa's Ferrari seat alongside Fernando Alonso.

One report even said 26 year old Rosberg recently visited the famous team's Maranello headquarters.

"This is all nonsense," he is quoted by the DAPD news agency. "I was not at Maranello."

Rosberg said his goal is to stay with Mercedes for the long term.

"My dream is to win with the Silver Arrows," he said.

And

Nico Rosberg set to sign Formula 1 drive extension to 2016 with Mercedes

Nico Rosberg could be the next top Formula One driver under long term contract.

Hot on the heels of Sebastian Vettel's new 2014 deal, and Fernando Alonso's tying to Ferrari through 2016, it is reported that German Rosberg could be set to sign on for five more years with Mercedes.

Sport Bild magazine said the deal is worth almost EUR80 million in total, representing a 3 million Euro pay rise increasing by 10 percent per season.

"I am counting on him being with us in 2012, and if it is up to me, a lot longer as well," said the German marque's motor racing Vice President Norbert Haug.

25 year old Rosberg did not deny the story.

"What I can say is that I'm really happy where I am. It remains my dream to succeed with the Silver Arrows," he said.

Also i read this..

Personly i hope Felipe tells ramilton to shove it. Im also suprise a certain member on here hasnt jumped to ramiltons defence in the last weeks. Most probably because ramiltons wheels have fallen off his wagon and you cant defend someone who is really that bad. hehe

Hope this weekend provides some good racing as im getting soooo tired of vetel winning.

Predictions for the race: Lewis too stick it on pole, poor start puts him in 2nd. Seb wins it and sets fastest lab. Button and Alonso to fight it out for 3rd or Alonso struggles with car all weekend and come in 5th just behind webber, Massa either crashes out or hits someone (not Lewis I hope) or has no race pace finish's no higher than 10th. Hoping the 2 Renaults finish in the points and Di Resta beats Sutil.

Just watched FP1 and now watching FP2 and its anyone guess who will get pole. Alonso, vetel, webber, button, ramilton have all been within a few Tenths of the top spot.

Vetel crashed out and slid it into the tyre was and has a real sulky face on him.
And alonso just slid it into the same place and vetel.

My race perdiction is Vetel to get pole and win, webber second, alonso third, button 4th and Ramilton to crash out yet again (hopefully)

Why would you hope that apon someone, I'd love to know what Hamiltons done to upset you so much? Sounds like there still having issues with Massa front wing, could be close tomorrow for the shoot out, but I think my moneys on Seb to stick it on pole, free practice doesnt really mean much, look at the last race, button performed well in free practice then come quali struggled, then come race day was back on form. Seb's the only one that seems to be consistantly good all weekend most of the time, and he and redbull never seem to show there true pace until it matters.

I really want to see a differnet outcome this weekend, but I dont think it will happen.

reptor has a problem with lewis because he came into F1 and obliterated nando at his own game and stopped him having a 3rd world championship which has upset the ferrari man. i have no problem with any driver in F1 and respect all of them for what they do. only driver that does my nut in is vettel but thats cuz he is winning everything right now but still respect the man and a worthy champion.

my predictions are

vettel pole, lewis second, alonso, button, webber, massa, rosberg, schumey.

vettel to win, lewis second, alonso 3rd. hopefully im proved wrong and we get a podium with 3 different drivers. this year has had only 7 drivers on the podium which is the fewest since a long time so shows how much redbull and the top teams are blowing the lesser boys out the water.

I guess no pictures are available of the Ferrari boys because they were in the toilets crying that they are nowhere near the top 4.

lol your pics do make me laugh dude.

i ****** knew fingers would steal it from lewis, i wonder what goes on in his head when he is driving round, he must lift off a little early somewhere to find the likes of 2tenths of a second on that last lap he does. that car he is driving is simply the best car around. it wouldnt surprise me though if he/the team were found to be cheating somehow. just my opinion but no way can he be that much faster than anyone lese on the grid, look at webber also, surely the cars are identical apart from personal setups and mark has more experience than fingers to know what works on track. who knows huh maybe its the cider i have just drank but i dont think vettel and his car are 100% cushty

Cannot wait for Vettel to destroy Hamilton, Hamilton to throw his toys out the pram and then Button to clear up and finish second.

Shame that vettel is out, but i think it will be an interesting race.

I enjoyed that race, well done Lewis Hamilton.

sit down little one, we all know that if vettel was out there he would have won so it was nice to see him and the car in the garage for the race. amazing faultless drive from lewis.

oh reptor where are you!!!!! nando didnt have an answer for lewis today, everytime nando put in a good lap lewis would respond, lewis had an awesome day out keeping his tyres spot on and driving a faultless race

Gutted Seb went out so early on, but shhh it happens.

Once again Lewis ran into someone, but no surprises there.

And didn't webber come on strong in the closing stages of the race.

we all know that if vettel was out there he would have won.

Excatly. What more can i add?

Lewis made one position up due to vetel not racing and Nando made up 3 due to pure skill over taking button.. What was your point again?

Lewis should soak it up as he wont win again. Love how the usual suspects on here only appear on race day and only if ramitlon does somert half decent..lol funny people :o.k:
