Hi

New here, looking at buying one of the last (I guess) RS3s into the UK. Any idea if a discount is possible? Going for white with buckets, probably black grill. Will then go for remap plus 2nd stage decat at MRC tuning. Only having the standard 8J wheels, anyone any thoughts on adding a small, say 10mm spacer onto these? Anyone used any spacers?

Car looks quite nice, come from a background of Renaultsports, not test driven yet, will target to test drive next weekend all being well.

Thanks

Si

Hi, welcome to ASN. Hope you enjoy the forum. :)

Sounds like a nice spec Si.
That is the upgrade path I would be looking at.
MRC are one of the best.
im loving mine after an RS2, TTS, and S3 sport back.
the 5 pot turbo motor is awesome.
you will love the traction of Quattro.
i thought there was only a couple left for allocation so good luck with the purchase.
loads of great info here.

couldnt resist the temptation of 400+ bhp for a pretty small extra outlay, would be rude not to ;)

yes, been disappointed with audi dealer so far, of 5 i've approached only 1 has shown any real interest to sell me a car! very odd...any views on discount? even if its only good will? had a good pcp offered, so quite happy with that, makes it very affordable.

know anything on the spacers question, or the offset of the standard 8j wheels compared to the optional wheels? really was just looking to make sure i had enough aggression visually, so not looking for anything major or OTT.

Yes the power to weight ratio is what Makes it quicker than a V8 R8 and the new RS4 already - 1500kg & 340 bhp.
with 400bhp available at stage 2 you will need to be spending £100k on a new 911 turbo or similar to get the same figures.

know what you mean, wiht 400+ you're nearly looking at 911 turbo speed...certainly prev gen 911 turbo!! pretty impressive...very tempted, just maybe need to get my head around a SLIGHTLY not quite exciting enough looks.....?????

Yes Audis are know for the understated look.
personally that's what I like about them.
I think they have the balance right between aggressive design elements and everyday looks.
If I wanted to drive something with bonnet scoops and massive spoilers and generally over designed I would be knocking on the door of my nearest Subaru dealer.
