Thanks Sandra took her to the Crieff meet and she loved it will be traveling from Arbroath so if anyone else is give me a shout!

Some of the boys are travellingin convoy. They meeting at harthill services. Give brodster, martay mcfly a pm and you could meet up with them. :) x
 
Yeah, Ill be going from Aberdeen down to Harthill, then across to Braehead. Don't think we've arranged a time yet, and looking less likely like I'll get home each day. :sign_unfair:

Arbroath? I'm just up in Friockheim, so not very far.

Unfortunately I wont have an Audi anymore, threw the black edition back at Audi due to the poor fuel consumption, then went and bought a BMW 335d today. Not really any better on the fuel, but no worse.

I would guess Glasgow Audi wont want a (near) top of the range BMW there to show up the fuel economy of their cars, lol. Was looking forward to this too, if I was gonna be allowed.

Should organise a meet at Crail! plenty parking, quarter mile and always plenty keen people wanna go there :)

When I say Arbroath its really Inverkeiler would offer you a lift but I live in Edinburgh and will be going back there after the meet!

Ha ha. When I said allowed, I was meaning from swmbo. Its our firsts due date today, so hopefully will be along before this meet. Might be a little soon to leave them while I go looking at cars again...
 
audi upgrades
Disaster! Been told we'll be mobbing Thursday to work Friday/Saturday... means I'll be flying home Sunday! NOOOOOO!!!!

That would be nice, get to meet some of the locals. It at 12 at Glasgow Audi, round the back at the service parking area as they have allocated us some Parking. :)
 
Sandra, is that the area next to the exit or at the other side where the canopy used to be ?

Really looking forward to this meet ! So is my fiancee, its ages since we have been to any car related stuff ! hopefully the weather is nice for us all ! :)

You go in the main entrance, turn right along the side of the building just follow the road round the back, it is pretty near the exit back on to the motorway. :) x
 
good news, i've eventually got new set of tyres this week for the alloys i brought few months back and will be ready for the meet.
would like your opinions on them when you see the car...... :yes:

too mannnnnyyy miles shout me next time its closer to hme turf, how about banchory for the next one, bring a couple of bbq's and a chiller ;)

Hi all, havnt been terribly active here since joining, but found this and if I can get along will try, I tend to frequent the A8Parts forum mostly and there are another couple of S8 owners on there, will see if they will come too, we all attended the Crieff meet earlier this year and had a good time

The more the merrier Brian. For all those that are coming from Edinburgh side myself and Danny will be in Harthill Services between 1030 and 1100. Thats enough time for a quick brew and wash of the car and then we will convoy from there to Braehead. I wil be taking afew detailing products to make her shine and also VCDS if anyone requires it. See you all Sunday......cant wait.

Just been told there's been more delays, wont' be mobbing until tomorrow. 95% sure I'll be either stuck out here, or at the very closest on the train to Helsinki at 12 on Sunday.

Got back to Ediniburgh now so will try and meet up at harthill for the convoy as i'm terrible with directions!

Could meet up at Hermiston Gate its just where the M8 starts is that ok place to meet around ten?
 
My car is minging right now so Im gonna nip into Sainsburys at the top of the bypass and give her a wee wash before I head off tomorrow. Gonna be in Harthill services between 1030 and 1100. Danny give us a ring when you get there mate as I wont be far away from you.

yeah can do, think i've found it on google maps. is it a retail park? lets say 9.45, so we can have a chat etc then leave 10 to Harthill...
 
There better be pics of this meet coming soon... so gutted I've missed out!
 
Thanks to all those members that attended the meet at Braehead. Weather stayed good and there was quite a good turn-out. The bacon butties were delicious albeit taking 20 mins to make. Great venue aswell and all the staff knew who we were. Looking forward to the next one.

Couldn't remember my username on this, but I had the A3 sportback with the tinted windows and the dubkorps sticker on the back window :)
