Guys: if you'd like to have a copy of the actual Vehicle Build data for your own RS3 (or any other Audi/VW vehicle, I guess?) then your local dealer should be able to provide, mine did.

Mine is a 5-page document and includes: Vehicle ID No., Sales model, Engine code, Description, Production and Delivery dates, Type approval numbers (so interesting for me!)

PLUS: Dealership number, Importer ref, Warranty period, etc.

AND of great interest: ALL of the PR Code numbers with Descriptions of each and every element included in your particular vehicle.

ALL interesting stuff, and worth adding to your own vehicle documentation.

The source address at your dealership is as follows:

https://portal.cpn.vwg/jctelsaonline/elsa/webuiprojects/fish/VehicleData.apx?VIN=

ADDING your own VIN, of course.

Stafford Audi did this for me; thanks to Stafford Audi...

That's pretty cool, I'll do my 8L later tonight and see if it comes up.

Did mine through Stafford Audi (big thanks).

Stafford Audi provided same data for my recently purchased TT: very interesting information and handy to have.

What are PR codes John?

The PR codes denote the factory-installed options for the vehicle.

The PR codes are printed on a sticker that may be found either: (a) in the spare tire well of the vehicle (trunk), or (b) pasted into the vehicle's owner's manual, or in my case (c) my Audi Service Schedule booklet.

My PR codes read thus:

RS3 PR

Try adding your VIN number to the end of the URL string

ie: VIN=add-your-vin-number-here

Then copy and paste the whole URL into your web browser address bar.

Adding it to the end doesn't work.

Internal use I think.
