Camera synchronisation, me thinks.... I've noticed it many times on videos of the RS3.

Whats with the flashing DRL's?

Its to do with the LED's naturally flickering, its not picked up by the naked eye but is by the camera as it captures so many frames per second, They capture the times the LED's are off too which makes them look like they flicker when replayed.

You'll probably see it on Topgear with many of the LED DRL's on the cars they test.

I have so got to find me a set of Sportec Mono 10's for the RS3, they look perfect

Am I the only one who thinks the first video is a bit boring? When I saw the title I was expecting it Ken Block style, hooning it round the bends in a full on 4 wheel drift........

He needs to change the title to "Gran borrows RS3 in snow"

That Sportec exhaust tho.........

Best system ive heard for the RS3 by miles, Its just a shame again it sounds so farty at low speed/idle.

I listed this particular video to show 'real-world' traction, Macdaddy, as one might expect on a typical snow covered public road; there's lots of other videos showing RS3's on snow covered 'not public' roads and tracks, as the second video shows.

I have to say that the traction on my car in the snow was the same as shown, just brilliant; the RS3 really does take some beating in the conditions shown (on the right tyres, of course).

Looking forward to meeting you in April…

Yea i was more than impressed with the RS3 in the snow (little) we had!

Fuel consumption went up for some reason though lol

Should be a good day when we see the UK's largest RS3 gathering to date
