The RS3 and Dynolicious result

Had the Dynolicious app since it came out.... never used it on the RS3....

Anyway here are the settings i'm using:

Weight: 3472lbs
Drivetrain loss: 18%
Mods: Milltek 2nd cat bypass
K&N Panel filter

Best result of 3...

Average of three runs 0-60 was 4.3 seconds.

Typically i ended up having to slow at around 80mph each time due to the stereotypical sunday drivers so dunno......

Good results there, my PerformanceBox usually shows around 4.2s (4.1s is sometimes possible) to 60 which seems about right to me. In mine 100 is usually 9.9s though I have seen a couple of 9.7s when it's warmer.

I had one at 4.1, another at 4.2 and the last one at 4.6 as i set off on a gravelly section of road.

Pretty happy then as it appears to be pretty accurate compared to the PerformanceBox then.

Yes seems accurate, they've really cracked using ios devices for acceleration, speed and GPS recordings now. Harry's Laptimer is a real quality app for the track that does it all, even integration with Go Pro cameras via wifi. The app was reading the same speeds, g forces and track position as the PerformanceBox. As long as the GPS signal is good the results seem pretty much spot on.

Sure does though launching the new RS4 is something else, it is a truly ferocious experience with that added bulk to move. I take it you've seen this excellent thread and video from Chris Harris:

I think Audi quote the 4.6s 0-60 time for the RS3 to make sure there is a jump up to the bigger more expensive models.

I also think back to this superb evo article where they compared the RS6 and R8, the figures make for interesting reading, note back in 2008 Audi was quoting 4.6s 0-60 for both these cars, in reality they were quite a bit quicker, add S-tronic to the mix and they'd be quicker again.

0-60's are at then end of the day all part of the Audi marketing machine, each time they have to improve a little.
