Robbie, they shine so nice they actually look chrome. So whats the secret?

Oh and what do you mean "one of the few things", its obvious we have a lot in common :friends:

Would m1 gtechniq be ok or to harsh for the black tips ?
Polishing // G|Techniq

Thats what worries me, i don't want anything thats going to be abrasive

PM N8 from Kowalski detailing....... not sure what he uses, since I had the car detailed a quick 5 minute jet wash brings it up like new. Well worth the money, most of the alloy wheel cleaning products will lift the grime off the pipes...... apply and wait 5 minutes or so for the spray/foam to do the work :icon_thumright:

Guys,

For you that have them, what do you find works best on the Black pipes to make them shine like new?
Please don't shoot the messenger, Health and Safety and ALL, but I use petrol; the deposits are products of petrol combustion after all.

A quick wipe over with a rag/tissue dampened with petrol does it for me (non-abrasive too).

Hi john u could use petrol ,but try auto Finesse oblitarate ,to get rid of the black deposits and auto finesse citrus power to clean after ..:)

I use Fairy Powerspray, rinse, wash with normal car shampoo, and Bob's yout Auntie. Bit of Iron-X if it is rerally stubborn. Then Optimum Metal polish to seal then but may try C5 next.

I use dodo juice supernatural wheel cleaner... And I'm gonna try using their nano ceramic sealant on the tips as it worked awesome (albeit a bit expensive) on the wheels..

Whatever works for you guys, but I need petrol for the mower/cultivator (for my beans/peas/potatoes/sweatcorn, etc) so I just dip a rag in that... Please remember my status here guys (68 today), I'm no longer mega earning like yous... :meeting: All abuse appreciated... :racer:

Happy birthday mate.. I guess I know why you chose cornflower as a colour - fits with the homegrown theme!
