Next Scottish Meet - Edinburgh Krispy Kreme

Now that I own the Audi I may try to make it to this meet ;-) Would be nice to see other clean Audi's.

regarding location, by "retail park" we're talking about car park on the halfords/currys side rather than B&Q side, right?

Yes mate. If KK is too busy we will congregate in the bottom left hand corner of the retail park. I will add your name to the list.
 
Well I might not be able to make it out to this meet with my v6 because of the dsg but will try and steal the family bus so I don't miss the donuts.

It worked fine on the way home from Crieff then it started having the odd temper tantrum now it seems to have a mind of its own works fine one day then next only get about 15 miles out of it then dis flashes. Just trying to decide the next course of action replace dsg ecu @2k or webuyanycar it and cut my losses.

How's the big foot is it any better to use than other da's.
 
Right then lads and lasses. Kripsy Kreme meet is still on and if anyone requires any specific detailing gear then let me know and I shall bring some along. I will be bringing afew other detailing bits n bobs but let me know. I will also be bringing VCDS so if anyone wants any tweaks done then grab me and let me know. See you all Sunday...fingers crossed the weather is better than what it is now as its hailstones here and BIG ones too.

Just dont fancy the two hour drive in the peeing rain. Fingers crossed tho.

Even if it is raining Scott we can go into KK and grab another batch of doughnuts and a brew. The 1st Aberdeen meet was held in the pouring rain so we all nipped into the nearby pub for a pub lunch and chilled out for a bit.

Hi if you don't mind I may take you up on this offer. I want to enable TPMS, got right module and everything but just need to enable it in the car :) It frustrates me that my wife's car got it (Seat Leon FR) but mine doesn't :)
 
No probs S4tronic........Scott if your coming over gimme a phone mate 07837 954862 as you will pass my house if you come off the M74 at Abington and follow the A701. We will drive into Edinburgh in convoy if you want. I will be leaving here about 11:15

Scott, when you come out of Biggar split right after the playing fields and just follow that road. Gimme a phone when you get to Blythbridge as I live about a mile past it.

Cool. I'll be going A74 coming off at Abington on to the A702, staying on that will take me right thru Biggar and take me to West Linton.
Where's Blythbridge??
 
No dont go straight to West Linton.....turn right about a mile outside Biggar mate....get onto the A701 NOT the A702.

Well the S3 is all nice n clean and grime free. Hopefully will see everyone tomorrow at KK......Drive safe lads and ladettes.

Right then peeps. The weather where I am is not too bad....tiny little bit of rain earlier on when I took the Shiba out for a walk but its trying to brighten up, and it looks alot brighter over Edinburgh way.

Update: Weather is good in Edinburgh.

Not going to be able to make it out after all. Which I'm really gutted about cause I'm going to miss out on the donuts lol. Have a great meet and I look forward to seeing the pictures
 
Hopefully by that time I will have my car fixed or something else.

Here is a little gift we got on Friday night so me and the wife are still trying to catch up our sleep from being up all night.

Good turn out in the end as well, even with the dodgy weather.
Thats me just got back in now, drive home was fine.

Thanks to everyone that made the KK meet. Big special thanks to those that travelled from afar (Scott and his mate from Cumbria and Daryl and his crew from Glasgow) Not a bad turn out and the highlight was the hijacking of a bloke and his R8 Spyder.....He'll be joining ASN soon and also wants his car detailed by me.....NICE!!!

Pics will be posted up very soon in the usual section.
 
I can only add that today was good nice to meet the guys I never knew, and shame on the ones I do know for picking on me (you know who you are) lol.
