Hey,

Lovely cars! Could you possibly tell me what type of wheels are on the black Audi in the first image in this post? Just bought my first Audi and really want to add a set of wheels similar to this.

Kyle

Yet another video...

We had a small TVA (Toronto Volkswagen Audi) A3's meet...

Small turnout, as some people couldn't come out, but good times all the same...

What's the size and brand of these rims? 20" OZ?

S3RYE, I loved the V709s and it looked awesome clean but I got sick of the same look and needed a change, and I prefered to go back to a more OEM look.

Martay, The photo quality was crap but in the flesh the Matte Black looked awesome and the spokes could really be seen.

I have the front and back diffuser painted black, along with the black grille, so it went perfectly.

Here is another one.

And her is a close up of my OEM Matte Black Audi Center Caps.

Hi guys
A couple of updated pictures, just gave her a good snow foaming and Autoglyming and replaced the rear emblem for a gloss black one ready to match the Black Optics grille and black front emblem I'll be fitting on Tuesday.

Well here it is, after a couple of hours this morning, S3 Black Optics style grille fitted. Only lost a few nuckles in the process.

Here is mine with a freshly painted and fitted S3 spoiler

Not the best pictures but I will try and get some better ones soon

Very pleased with the outcome of the spoiler, paid £80 for the spoiler and £70 for spraying and fitting :w00t:

Cheers mate

Thinking about spraying the alloys next, maybe Anthracite or Gloss black, undecided yet I'm not sure which will suit the car better

I'm also looking at getting some V-maxx Coils! :)

Those are the A8 replica wheels. Those are me winters so they are 17"... Those wheels look really good in 18 or 19" though.

Better pic of my A3 with the spoiler fitted :ninja:

After many happy miles, 6 months ago I decided to start trying to sell my car. With not much interest during the Christmas period, I left it until recently to re advertise the car. A buyer got in touch from Cardiff, came to view and took it that same day due to the condition of it. Because I'm 19, insurance is a big deciding factor for what engine and car I can have.

Picked up with 14 miles on the clock! Love this car - Had a brilliant weeks worth of weather in it!!

If you can afford a brand new TT at 19, how is insurance an issue?

Doesn't it!? What possible need would there be for that car anyway? Is a Q3 just too high for some people?
well it would be nice to have an ordinary a3 for everyday use and then when there is mud or snow u can lift your car higher with a press of a button and continue to your way, plus i think it looks better than the Q3 :)

A picture from this weeks detail, this was after the correction stage and one coat of blacklight, still un-sealed.

Nice work.

Thanks.

I've asked this somewhere else (off-forum), you'll be able to help actually.
What's your views on wet-sanding to remove the orange peel which can be seen in the picture?
I've got use of my brothers old wrote off BMW to knock myself out practicing. I've read up on it and all seems relatively simple enough.
Obviously it can easily go wrong. I'd probably need a PTG to ensure I don't strike through anywhere?
Also not having a rotary, only DA at the moment ive read sanding down to a 3000 grit then using Megs MF system you can still bring all sanding marks out, then finish with a orange/105 combo?

Would you say it's gonna be worth the cost and time etc?

A few pictures from my recent track day at Blyton Park, absolutely brilliant and I can't wait for the next one! I wasn't going to push hard as it's my every day car but that soon changed as soon as I started :D Had my wheel alignment completed the day before and also bought a Revo intake which is a great bit of kit.

Managed to go through an entire tank and now I'm wanting a GoPro camera and some TTRS brakes for next time.

When I picked this up from the main franchise Audi dealer in Essex, they failed to honour the arrangement to polish out some scratches, so I had some detailing and paint correction carried out myself locally in Kent.
Very pleased with the result...
