John why are you selling your wing mirrors....

That's a GREAT picture of a GREAT car Nick; so good I'd be tempted to buy it again.

But no, I am not selling my mirrors; I guess they've just grabbed a photo of the DK Eng website where the car is still advertised:

No worries for me...

ALL sorted Nick, thank you; the eBay car's now had a re-spray... And still looks GREAT as ALL RS3's do anyway.

Hopefully the ebay seller, who tells me he is a Daytona grey RS3 owner, will become a member of audi-sport.net.

i dinged one of mine and its defiantly coated plastic not metal >.<

BUT the seller has (in writing) told me:

"the housings are metal.!!

As if Audi are going to fit plastic casings on a 40k car......!!

I've had 3 RS3 and all been on 11 plates..!!"

I'd advise any Audi A3/S3/RS3 owner to be cautious if contemplating purchase.

Oh, and the seller also tells me his RS3 is in "dolphin grey pearl"... (?)

To be fair there is a picture of the grey RS3 with grey mirror caps could be genuine

There most certainly are now photographs of a grey RS3 Sean, but his excuse for using a photograph of BLUEY in his original eBay advert, as highlighted by Klauster, and not using a photograph of his own car was:

"IT WAS THE ONLY PICTURE I COULD FIND NO PROBS I'LL DELETE AND REPLACE IT , WAS TOO MUCH OF A HASSLE TAKING PICS OF MY CAR AT THE TIME.

THANKS..!!"

But it could all be genuine...:ermm:

Hmmm thinking about it John, similar to when I 'bought' the Rotor alloys that the guy didn't want me to collect in person?? Later I found he had used a picture from this very forum for the rotors !! Just shows you never know. :busted_cop:
