Hi All,

New to this forum. Just picked up my 2010 S3 Sportback a couple of weeks ago.

First thing is a Stage 1 remap.

Any recomendations on which is best Revo / APR/ Shark? Based in Lancashire.

Ideally want the plug in device so I can put back to stock when needed.

Exhaust / Induction due in the new year :thumbs up:

I don't think there's anything to choose between any of the major products.

They all offer roughly the same results, and what you want is a reliable(preferably recommended) tuner, near to where you live, and go with that.

All of the above come as software uploads to the ECU and not plug-in boxes.

I REALLY like that!!!

Regarding the map, well I`ll agree with S3Alex not much in between the software providers.. We use Revo Software BUT I like to think our customer service is above the rest :respekt::respekt:

If you need any information then please feel free to contact me

I've run Revo on mine since the start.

I can't complain about the service, although I think that with all of the larger software companies,(and that includes APR etc)people like myself have to accept that there is no option for any custom services.
For anything up to that level, they've been excellent.

Cheers lads,

Will be doing a bit of back tracking on this forum to get up to speed with the S3 ;)

Just looking for the remap ASAP

Nice car. Is the roof normally all black with a pano roof?

Nice car. All maps are similar, and all maps can be removed if required.

Well i couldn't wait and went to see Graham at GNJ Motorsport which is only 5 mile away.

Came back with the Shark Stage 1 re-map.

Very impressed :thumbs up:

Still has the OEM feel with the way the power is delivered but it is now what I expected from the 'S' badge.

Boost kicks in earlier and maintains pull throughout rev range.

Great service and knowledge from Graham aswell :)

Your car looks fab! I've got a white version although not S3

Looks lush, red with pano roof is my ideal combo although I would have the black rails to make it perfect!

I'm on the lookout for the rails but £450 - can't justify that yet.

I got mine from German ebay, £190 delivered and then another £50 for the fittings from Audi.

Your on the wrong forum to save money lol

Mate.... Tell me about it !!!

I've only been here a few days and the shopping list already is shocking.

Took a decision to get mapped and came back the next day £400 lighter.

I've had this one for 5 months and resisted the map for 3 of them, luckily I found a full milltek hidden underneath!

Thought I'd test the remap on the dyno at the weekend... Just shy of 305bhp with the stage 1 shark performance map.

Did you change the colour of the car on the rolling road?
