Info on a new (used) S4 please :-)

Seems like it has been looked after and 480PS :) I probably would buy it. Saves you spending cash on modifying too

If you do though just make sure you have some "reserve" money, just in case something goes later on down the line. 480PS is a lot for an S4 so make sure the service history is there and periods of service etc. I know we say these engines are bomb proof but just be mindful of the other components that are under stress, like gearbox (although known to handle lots of torque) and drivetrain etc.

If it has receipts of mods carried out then bonus.

What are you waiting for - go view it already :)

It's the fact I've spent a fortune on mine but they have a 2008 s3 in the garage at stage 2+ but with over 100k on the clock for just under 14k!
I've messaged them to see what they would offer me on mine!

Almost certainly @fcuk1_6 's old car.

Only thing to note is that he sold it in January, and it looks like it hasn't been kept long by the current owner?

Generally I wouldn't touch a car that had been chipped to that extent. But knowing the history and previous owners would make a big difference.

I would. but then again, it's something I would have got if it didn't have it.
It's worth noting that people who mod cars tend to look after them better.

They're often well maintained, but also driven fairly hard.

I'd just be wary of spending that much on a car that I couldn't get a warranty for. DSG boxes aren't cheap to replace.

Eeeek that doesnt sound good tbh! If there anything like the S3 dsg clutches tho, im sure they will be able to handle that power no?

It's a low spec car, they are hard to shift. Like location, location, location, with high end cars it's options, options, options. I would look for a loaded one and chip it, adding options is not financially viable.

Doesn't have MMI, ADS, got std wheels, aluminium inlays, does look basic except for the remap. You would be better getting a higher spec one without the map.
Their advert is wrong as well which always annoys me, eg there's no sunroof....they've done a copy and paste job....

No sure where you are but Jamie at Rivelin motors, searches out high spec S4 and S5 could be worth ringing him and leaving your number for if he finds anything.

Got mine from him recently. Mine had just about every option. 0114 232 0409

PMd, was my old car but all is well as far as I'm aware, was just bought by a trader to run for a while then sell on.

Ad isn't totally right, doesn't have front parking sensors, sunroof or heated seats. It is basic spec with only a dons that I remember is DAB radio, interior light pack and auto dimming mirrors.
It has a small nick in the leather on rear armrest and alloys weren't in perfect condition but not bad and rest of car was good condition in my opinion. I had a full Audi service history and moved it on before 60k mile service which is a major one so I'd check what's been done and by whom.

And the B8s didn't have BOSE as an option, attention to detail in ads should give you an insight into what their aftercare would be like...
Are you sure as I'm 99% sure it had Bose.

Yeah my new B8 S4 has the B&O upgrade option but think Bose is standard on the B8 S4, maybe OP can clarify if and when you go see it?

Pretty sure that all B8's have never had Bose. Standard Audi audio might possibly have some Bose-sourced components, but I doubt it. There's certainly no mention of Bose in the brochure anywhere.

Na left it bud, think ill just keep mine now. If it was all great and dandy and the spec had been a bit better, i maybe would have seriously thought about it ;/
Mines pushing 370bhp now anyway so its all good but 4 doors would have been more practical as my misses is about to pop :)
