Anyone used OE standard Pagid front brake pads?

Hi,I am just about to fit some TT RS/RS3 front calipers to my VW T5.
I bought some OE Pagid front pads from Euro's and have noticed the chamfering on the pads is massive taking away about 25% of the pad area until they are worn about half way down.
Just wondered if anyone had actually used them?

The STD Audi RS3/TTRS Brembo pads - that use Pagid friction material - are like this without chamfer:

And the 47i6 replacement/upgrade Audi RS3/TTRS Brembo pads were directional, like this:

I do have a set of oe pads like above that came with the calipers, they still have quite a lot of pad material left on them.
Could clean them up and re-use.
Regarding the noise I thought the chamfers helped?

Seemingly everything else other than an RS3 or TTRS, Martin....

I've used several pads now
Oem I'd chuck em straight in the bin, I've got a set here with less than 100 miles on them and they squealed........

Red stuff had chamfers and slots, were great but after a few thousand miles lost their bite and I was getting terrible judder/vibration from deposits on any longer journeys.....
Yellowstuff had them in for less than 2 days, as they started falling apart, not good.

Tried Brembo sport pads, marketed as an alternative non squeal pad, great for 3 weeks then squealed like the oem ones.

Only ones I've had any success with are the Ferodo DS performance (not the 2500) bought the FDS 1334 (Evo x fit, same Brembo Caliper) and these are the ones I'm going to stick with.
I'm currently waiting for the rears to arrive.

It's a l o o o o n g story Martin: I'd say fit 'em, whichever ones you'd prefer, and be prepared to swap 'em over if you get noises you don't like. STD RS3 pads do not have a chamfer, pads from other suppliers do, or are slotted: some use OEM without problem and others do have a problem - on the RS3 that is: but you're applying 'em to something else so best go first principles with the STD pads and see how it works for you: hand on heart information that is.
