Looks good mate, not so drawn to the wonky exhaust though, you may want that sorting.

yeah its something i have been meaning to sort

thats something im going to sort payday as this months cost me nearly £1500 haha tracking's only slightly out but that little bit is starting to annoy me already

yeah ill get it sorted in a couple of weeks.

204/40 Jesus that must be comfortable, are you not worried about the sump, how far from the ground is it? Can you clear big speed bumps.

It's quite a stretch on the rears haha no problems with the sump yet and speed bumps are tricky. Only problem I'm getting is I think with the drive shaft on the left hand side. It's knocking when going round left hand corners but not on the chassis. I think the angle may be too steep but I've raised it up and it's still the same so not sure

How much did the wheels cost of you don't mind me asking looks good mate

Special offer from stanceduk.com £700. Should be £850 but some places sell these for nearly £1000

Without tyres obviously. Seems like you got a good deal then

Yeah mate without tyres. Only ever seen these on 1 other a3

Looks very good bud, same year/model/colour/doors as mine. A bit too low for me personally, but it's nice to see how good my car can look, what front splitter is that?

Cheers man. I remember seeing yours when we had it at work when some **** stole it from you. It's a vortex splitter mate

Almost bought those wheels but went for the 0.05's 8.5j all round

looks good mate. you getting coilovers and wheels?

speedlines will look good when they're on mate. i had eibach springs on before these 50/40 and they were very good for just springs. noticeably lower than standard height and still gave a good ride. if id have know i would have held onto them for you but sold them last week

Yeah hopefully I'll like em, otherwise they'll be sold for some rs4 ones. Been thinking of eibach's for a while, just too tight to pay over £100 for some

i sold mine for £50 although they did need re-painting. if you can stretch to it get some coilovers. i only paid £175 for mine brand new.

FK,S mate. yeah the rides still very good. and you can set it at whatever height you want

I'm looking at coilovers too. Been thinking FKS for a while to be honest

All this about don't buy cheap coilovers is rubbish. I've run FK'S on a variety of things and the ride is excellent. End of the day if you get any coilovers and go as low as they will then ride is going to be compromised. You can't expect to be an inch of the floor and have a ride like a Bentley. If you're tracking a car then yes you will notice a difference but let's be honest how many people buy coilovers because they're doing that and how many people buy them for the overall look?

That's probably very true. Had FKs on my previous car, adjusters and helpers out and fully down. Still rather get a decent set if I was to get some for my Audi.

Trust me mate. I have adjusters in still on the rear but the helpers are out and it's all the way down at the front but it still rides well. I have a mate with them on a mk6 golf gti too but he has helpers in. He does a lot of driving round European going to shows like rollhard and worthersee with some hard driving and he's not had a bad word to say.
