Midlands Detailer.... first hand experience required

Hi lovely people...
I am awaiting a delivery date for my new s3 saloon, I know there is various detailers available who offer various coatings from Carbon Collective to Gtechniq to Gyeon etc...
My question is...
Can you provide me with your first hand experience of the work completed and by whom and cost if you wish to share.
I struggle to get decent info from Detailing World and was hoping you experts would share some personal experiences

I think the gtechniq detailers all charge the same price's for each stage example..... gold,silver,bronze each comprising of different processes ie products exterior and interior treatments
The only thing l would add is smaller detailers tend to charge less during the winter months because they ain't so busy

I only use Nick www.birminghamdetailingshop.co.uk one of the best in the country and always being snapped up by companies to sort their cars out at shows. They are based 5 mins from Edgbaston a Cricket ground.

Iv had Gtexhniq C1 & EXO on my last 2 cars and has been great with the correct maintenance, i took delivery of our sepang blue s3 at the weekend and coated it yesterday with Gyeon MOHS si cant really comment on how it performs

Tell him Ken sent you, he is very meticulous and he's worth the money. Some might say hes a bit pricey but he does things properly and not one of the detailers who gets a car in and pushes out the same day. Midlands Detailing.

Barry has been doing my cars for the last 10 years either a swirl correction detail or a new car detail. He is the only chap I trust with my motors. Check out the above website for a recent work gallery, portfolio blog and testimonials.

S3 has Gyeon MOH+ with Durabead coating. Still beads as well today six months later as when it was first done. The high end Gyeon products cannot be bought unless you are a certified detailer and must be professionally applies - they also come with a two year warranty.

Hi,

I did yes, purely due to time contraints and logistics of getting the car somewhere and leaving it. Yes cause im not accredited I could only use MOHS, but id go Gtexhniq you know what your getting. If you can stretch to it, go for Crustal Serim Black.
