I have realised there are lots of things I never use on my car.

I set the drive select to individual and have left it since.

I never use the phone prep/link.

I tend to leave the display on computer with the journey time displayed.

Never use the steering wheel controls for changing audio (except volume). Always use the centre console instead.

Never once used lap times.

Yep, cruise and the rear seats as well as only the vol on the steering wheel, never change the dis display, always set to the digital speedo and average mpg. Lights are on auto all the time and my storage spaces, glovebox etc are always empty..

Has anyone specced the fancy audi park assist plus and wished they hadn't ?

Most of the Audi Connect features (although the couple I do use makes it all worthwhile)

I spec'd the parking system plus which is front and rear sensors plus the graphical thingy. It's crap. The front sensors are so alarmist and the visual MMI bit is useless. Rear sensors alone would be fine.

No. I think I'm one of these old people that were referred to at the beginning of this thread though, as "Driver Assist" features just irritate me. I would hate high beam assist. I'm very particular about when I raise and dip my beams, surely by the time the sensor has seen the lights coming you've already blinded them? It makes me angry just thinking about it. Don't get me started on Adaptive Cruise.

Don't use greenpeace mode (economy).

What muppet thought that would be a good idea in a 300hp car??

We're not old grannies are we?!!

I nearly did, but thought better of it

I don't agree. I think the front and rear sensors are fine.

And I like High Beam Assist. It doesn't dazzle oncoming drivers, it dips in good time - remarkable actually.

Damn, I don't know now whether to drop the driver assistance package and get the comfort package instead.

Folding mirrors.
All they do when folded is catch water which then leaves a dirty mark on your door as you unfold them each time and the water spills out.

I forgot to mention in my first post l don't use the passenger seat either lol

nor do l use the electric windows seriously l don't for OCD reasons lol

Haven't used the electric windows since I got the tint done and the tinter put tape on the switches.

I took the tape off but never found the need to use them.

I have air, I don't smoke, I like smelling my own farts .....

They stay up :)

There's too much to mention, some times I dont even use the whole car

Me? AMI - Takes up valuable space in my glovebox TBH

I have Start/Stop switched permanently off. I never use Hold Assist and never use any of the 'phone' functions as the only phone I have in car is in the centre console and always switched off. Other that that I do use most of the 'features' fitted, some only once in a while.
