What front skirt / splitter

Ok I've only had the S4 for 4 weeks but after moving up from the RS focus I think the S4 lacks a little front end presence for it's power. I have seen many of you have fitted the RS front grill which is definitely on my list, any recommendations for supplier?

I also like the front skirt / splitter that comes as standard on the 'Dynamic', have any of you fitted one either supplied by Audi or NKTuning? Please post pictures if you have.

I'm thinking NKTuning as it's £160 cheaper than the genuine Audi skirt, as my S4 has the black optic pack I think i'd spray it black and pair it with a gloss black RS grill.

All feedback appreciated before i take the plunge.
 
I bought one of the NKTuning front splitters for my previous A4 SE, fitment wasn't to bad, I had it bonded to the front bumper. If I remember correctly though it won't fit your S4, or an S-Line bumper. I have pics if you want, but it's just the same as above.

Just been on NKTuning's website, their splitter is £90 delivered (£74.99 + £15.00 p&p).

I agree the front just needs a bit more

Watch out for the NKtunning as I bought one and it wouldn't fit the s4 bumper as JG says

I then got a cheap fibreglass stvbek copy which I have just removed today as it was crap quality and just made the car look cheap

So I'm back to standard for now

Yes JG just seen that the NKT one does not fit S-line or S4!!!!

Any other options out there? I didn't really want to spend £850 on the RS4 conversion from Xenonz.

I think splitters for S4's are few and far between, but I've no doubt the S4 guys on here will find some, and share.
Know what your saying re RS conversion, BIG bucks!!!

Yes mate.... Gloss black with either a white or red accent is £151 delivered.... Pretty good I think, less for the solo gloss black

Was mibbie thinking leave the red accents, but have the splitter with the white, at least it will still go with car even if I change accents..... Or of course as the missus says..... Grow up lol

Yeh, that sounds good, suppose if you don't like it you can always get the Mrs to nail varnish it red, lol.
As for "growing up"...................... tell her from me, never!!!

I like that Mac ! Haha there is no growing up the toys just get more expensive

I'd avoid the NKtunning lee I don't think it will fit

JG I'll keep it under my hat for now lets just say it won't be and off the shelf job if it even works at all :-0

Update..... It finally arrived.... No white stripe on it.... No reply from my emails !!!!
 
Sounds like a bit of a bummer Mac, quite sure anyone looking to buy one of these will be interested in how you get on with a replacement.

Sent 4 emails... Rang the number.... Not valid number lol.... And the fkin thing has the company badge on it.... Hopefully it will peel off .
 
What does the fitment look like Mac, is it going to fit straight on without any modification?

At least if it looks good, it may help with your frustration with seller. :yes:

It definitely fits well John, just hope I can get the logo off, of may have to carry out a wee mod over it lol

Not fitted yet as waiting to see if seller will make contact to resolve issue
 
Do you have any pics of it mate?? Looks great but wouldn't mind seeing where the logo is on it first. I'd be going for the full gloss black.

That looks good for the money. Almost identical to the Triple R Composite splitter I bought for my mk2 Leon Cupra. Is it the gloss black you went for??

If you don't want it I'll take it off your hands.
 
Update.... the seller finally made contact... :blush:... turns out that if you order the splitter with either the white or red stripe then.... wait for it.... you get a length of tape to stick on... so in my opinion it's not worth the money

A bit of a con them Mac, white/red tape, no way, takes me back to my go faster stripes on my astra, psml.

Aye John, nor impressed, but will put the splitter on anyways, if need be ah'll get my mate to paint the white strip on, but reckon it will look ok gloss black

Or you could wrap it, at least then if you don't like it you can just peel the white bit off, just a thought mate???
