What gets me is that the UK is one of the biggest market for Audi (Please do correct me if this is incorrect) and I'd expect that all the right colours and options would be availalble from day 1!
Then for Audi Ireland (Not bitter one bit I swear) which I'm pretty sure is not as big a market as the UK they have Ara Blue Crystal, Black Styling pack (couldn't get rid of the black roof rails though!), exclusive colours, yada yada :-(

So either Audi (Audi UK?) really do not know how to organise a **** up in a brewery or there's such a rush of orders from the UK that they have to limit them to more standard options for a while (?) or they don't give 2 shits... In any case it sucks :-(

You are right... in other countries you can buy the TT without the Connectivity pack, and still have basic maps and nav. Smartphone interface is also offered in other countries now. In the UK for sat nav it's all or nothing. At times they do appear to make some strange marketing decisions.

Strange, but profitable.

I imagine it's all done to 'keep up with the Jones' '. If BMW and Mercedes offer something as 'standard' in the uk, then Audi have to also. The U.K. Public is not generally intelligent enough to do its own sums on an options list. In fact, my own findings would indicate that most of the U.K. public is thicker than a whale omelette.

Alor Blue is actually very Turquoise. I nearly ordered a lease Seat Leon Cupra Black in Alor Blue, nothing like Ara except both have blue in the name! Online pictures can be very misleading, as previously discussed.

Doesn't look very turquoise to me on this clip, but Ara blue is one-off most disappointing colours l have seen probably why it's going in as standard optional colour on several Audi models A3/Q2

There's only one member on here that's stated he's ordered a FL S3 coming from the PFL guess he really likes the car

I would say it's a tad lighter in tone but very similar indeed, not as you say nothing like it.....

Looks like a Vision Express (other opticians are available)ad initially......I think its a cracking colour...i do understand jassy's comments re it looking one dimensional but still a great colour....think I may have chosen it if had been available...(although in some pics it did and still does remind me of a Ford Fiesta colour

That may have put me off ...and it may be better suited to the S3 than my A3

The Mind set with having a Demo Car...is very different from owning a car....anyways, Floret for the WIN.................I would say Dayz Of Thunder is the most common colour of Audi...ever,ever,ever........lol

What sort of discount are people getting on facelifts, like 10%?

Waiting to hear back tomorrow from Glasgow Audi, girl called Morven.

Seems to a be a lot of people from Scotland on here..! Since I live in Edinburgh I ordered with Edinburgh Audi. Trying to work out the discount i got, do you mean the % difference of the cash price from the ROTR price? If so i got about 12% plus first service free of charge. They gave £900 deposit contribution & I put down £650.

12%. Nice, did you have to fight for that or?

I live in Edinburgh also but the guy I was dealing with the last time didn't offer much so I walked away. Generally deal with Stirling but I was told Glasgow Audi have a good reputation so thought I'd try them.

Was thinking about 1k down myself. Cars like 39,900. So was hoping I'd be around 480-500 3 year pcp and 5k miles a year. Sound about right?

I fought a bit on price and any extras that could be thrown in. Did it all by email to make it more matter of fact 'I can only afford this £x'. The woman I dealt with, Kim Drake was good, not pushy and didn't make us buy upgrades which we didn't really need. She's been in the game for 20 odd years so is more honest than a slimey new sales person. I can give you her contact details if you want?

When you get the quote back see if they can knock £25 per month off the repayments. When you've hopefully negotiated it down play the waiting game then ask what else they can throw in. It worked for us. Maybe I could've pushed a bit more but meh, I'm happy.

Contacted her today mate. Seems nice. Sent me over a quote I'm mulling over. Needs to be 5k per annum not the10. And may take it over 42 months as opposed to 36. Problem is I want the black pack with the florret silver lol as don't think it will be that nice with the chrome grill etc. Either that or go down route of black again. Hmmmmm

Yeh. I noticed that from the email she sent me. Quite a crap deal actually! 39k car. Closer to 40. And 2.5k discount!! Not great. Seems Stirling and Edinburgh are the best to deal with

Not even you @jassyo06 ...? I thought you were a good friend with the HoB ?;) :D

Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh are all part of the same group. Might be worth trying Perth or Dundee @FBF01 if they are fairly near to you?

That's the thing though, both Edinburgh and Glasgow have sent me two totally different quotes! Discount with Edinburgh is looking pretty good!!!!! Glasgow came back to say couldn't do much more if it wouldn't be till March.

That's good, glad you got in touch to compare. Have you though about car wow for comparison? I would've only have saved £250 if went via the Coventry Audi garage which was the cheapest quote. However for the marginal price saving and hassle of going down there it wasn't worth it.

Aren't they both part of the Lookers group? You'd think they'd both be very similar huh.

Was contemplating that, but similar to you, a long way to go there and back. Least the break in period would be well under way!!! See what she comes back with today
