Earlier this year I found myself pretty much doing nothing every weekend other than recovering from a week of work. My partner would be competing her horses and I would just waste time with watching tv etc.

I knew I needed a change and that is why I bought the S3 and pledged to get out of the house with it. I then decided to use my camera gear which is my second holiday and have since gone to various car events each weekend and filmed them! I do struggle with time but I have met so many great people on the journey, learn new skills every week and I havent had time to get bored!

What do some of the rest of you do with your weekends?

And of course a shameless plus to yesterdays video

One of my best friends mum teaches a dance class which we have said we would attend for a few years but still haven't! I actually would love to give it a go although I do have two left feet!!

For me at the weekends if I'm not working then I'm out in the woods or down the beach exploring with my boy and dogs. Simple life but it makes me happy.

Boys football and tennis practice Saturday morning. Normally off somewhere visiting someone or entertaining, otherwise taking the boys to a skate park or doing stuff around the house.

There's a car show that takes place in the centre of Bristol every year I think. Motorbikes are put on show as well. Is this it?

We went a couple of years ago. All the Ferraris were parked up on one of the side streets and they decided to have a revving competition. The sound was immense!

I surf, i also attend some local meets, usually just stick to hanging around with a bunch of mates that are also in to cars though, bored of seeing the 100s of financed cars which have a fancy set of financed wheels and some lowering springs then turn up to meets acting like ballers. (i'm getting old and grumpy)

No I am not sure what meet that would have been in all honesty? This is a monthly event on the second Sunday of the month. I'll have to look in to the other one you have mentioned!

I work back shift all the time at the moment, including unpaid Saturdays...BOO....!
Sunday is reserved for cleaning as many as I can manage of 4 cars, Mother and Wife's included, 5 mile walk with the dog, (good for cleansing the soul), and wherever the missus fancies for something to eat.
Normality, when it returns, will see me taking to the hills with the camera and dog.

Rapidly approaching the time in life, where I will be asking John for advice on a mobility scooter.

I'm thinking RS3....... :yahoo:

I'm shift work so i only get 2 wkds off a month

There spent getting the car dirty or removing something standard

looking after my two boys either with or without the mrs depending what shes working ( also shifts ) so generally clowning about in the house and garden or out somewhere with the two dogs or at the park etc

never a dull moment in my house whether you want it or not :)
