Prepare to wait a while then lol mine's down for 20th Feb and hit prep at 1am this morning.

Down for 20th what? Delivery or?

How long is it roughly from moving to Stage 2 to 3? Order Recv'd > Prep
 
Im build week 8 w/c 20th Feb also... ordered 5th Dec and still on order received - if this helps anyone.

As a side note, anyone with the comfort and sound pack not have B&O listed yet other parts of the comfort pack are?

I have B&O listed in my configuration with the comfort&sound package - might be worth double checking with Audi customer care?

Have a bit of a wait yet then - my order date says 07/12/16 but was a dealer order slot as I actually ordered around the 14th December. I am on Build week 10 and has been showing that since stage 2 first activated.

Was due to start build on the 6th but it started on the 3rd and then left the factory on the 7th. What time scale am I looking at from leaving factory to arriving at my dealers?
Initially due to receive it on march 15th

I have this too, the pack just shows up under the packages section but not as B&O separately

Mine left the factory on the 13th Jan, arrived UK port 7th Feb and my dealer has advised ready to pick up 12th Feb, so 4 - 5 weeks from my experience.

Neither did I, the time taken from factory to being loaded onto a ship was very painful. You may be quicker though, I think mine was pretty much worst case.
 
Still can't track my order after 5 days. This normal? Found out this morning it's changed from build week 16 to 10 though :yes:

Nightmare... Doesn't help that I'm checking it on the hour every hour!

Mine's been in QC for 3 days, my gf's Q2 was only in it for 2.. was hoping to progress to shipping today. Meh - hopefully tomorrow
 
You chaps are quite lucky being able to track your new cars. This is the first of my 10 A3's that I've been able to track in any way. With the other 9 the only way I new what was happening was when the dealer gave me a build week and then phoned me to say that it had arrived. I'm off to the dealers this afternoon to give them the Retention Certificate for my personal plate so that they can use my number to register the car. I also need to talk to the technician able a couple of jobs to be done to the car before I collect it, probably on 1 March.

I certainly wouldn't call it a waste! She's nice. After the same one myself but I hear the 765 is coming out this year and it reads good.
I suppose I may stop talking bikes before I'm banned...

Enjoy the new wheels!!

I was going to contact Audi about my private plate. I'm part ex-ing my car and want Audi to put my new plate on the S3, can I still drive my existing car when I put my plate on retention? I don't have the old plates and cant be bothered to pay for new ones just to drive to the dealership..

Well if your plate is on retention then you shouldn't still have it on the car, especially if you're using the car. You'd need to get new plates made up mate.
 
Technically No. Usually before you receive your Retention Certificate you will receive a new V5 document for the new number given to the existing car if it never had one allocated originally and you should put revised plates on straight away. But... personally I never both to change the plates and continue driving on the private plate until I take it to the dealer to trade-in and collect the new car. The dealer then puts new plates with the new number before they sell it. I have done this 11 times over the years and never had any problem. When I'm at the dealers I usually take a photo of the two cars together, both with the same registration number. If you do change the plates don't forget to tell your insurance company. In my case the last 9 changes have been from a Silver A3 to another Silver A3!

The order date says alot earlier is this good for my build week??

I completed the retention information on-line on the DVLA website last weekend and the new V5 arrived on Tuesday and the actual Retention Certificate arrived today. All complete within the week. Much quicker than when you had to fill in a paper document and send it to the DVLA.

yeah i just waited a week, if not more by sending the document off...

for some reason the site didnt let me go through putting my reg on retention so I had no choice

Really good news they have used a build slot they had so you should get it sooner
I ordered mine on 11 of Jan and mine has an order date 16/12/16
