Can any on here tell me what amd tuning remaps are like on there Audi s3 8p and have they had any problems with them the remap or anythink ?

Depends where you to and your budget but its a well tried out process with many companies carrying out remaps successfully

Personally speaking, I am Revo through and through, mainly because they are the best locally to me.

I had my 8P at stage 2+ for over 60k miles with no issues what so ever (370bhp)

My Porsche Cayman S and Scirocco R were both stage 1 and my S3 8V will be getting the same treatment soon

Dont go for the cheapest option, thats my advice

Yeah I understand I've got a revo near me it's only in Guildford and then amd is in woking Surrey but I'm not sure about them I've always been swaying towards a revo remap and I haven't really got a budget tbf just didn't wanna go all in like mad I just wanna do it bit by bit you no, I am still thinking of going to revo as I said but just don't like the idea of how much there remap is think it's a bit much just for software but I also don't no anyone that has ever had a problem with them either lol..... how much did the stage 2+ cost you did you get it all done in one go or did you do it bit by bit your self and then got it remapped ??

I have a Revo agent couple of miles from me which is where I was going to go but after some research I may be road tripping elsewhere, I'm going straight to stage 2 on an A3 8P SE S Line Quattro the 200 bhp one. The reason for looking at others is I was reading that the Revo maps haven't been updated in a long time whereas Tuners such as APR & R Tech have

I ran Revo software from Stg1 to Stg3 and had no issues with it other than that once a file was written, there were few if any developments, and this applies especially to the higher power level files.

The quality of what you get is good, and there were no engine related issues,so I would say that they're safe and relatively conservative.

I've now moved to a totally different ECU with custom software......far more adaptable and advanced, but much more expensive.

I'd say that sticking with the stock ECU,custom mapping from people like R-Tech or Unicorn is the way to go.

100% go to R-Tech in Hinkley or Unicorn in Stockport, custom mapping is the best route to go down rather than generic maps, they're cheaper and far superior to Revo nowadays. If you have to go down the generic route then definitely pick APR, wish I had done more research prior to stage 1 as I would've started off with R-Tech, I'm happy with my Revo stage 1 & 2 maps but their software is now lacking for the S3 8P, especially stage 2+ above.
