You know it is small and that no body would notice it. But you'd know it is there and that it will bug you until it is repaired. Smart repair.
(These parking lots are full of a**holes)

That's a pisser when it happens , glad you got it repaired nicely tho. I used to laugh at my girlfriends dad parking his mx5 in furthest away spot at the supermarket - which I now do! but sometimes in town you can't choose.

Reminds me I had 2 similar incidents with my A3 years ago. One was street parking beside my work , parked behind a Range Rover vogue , close but gave enough room.
I came back to a note which said I had parked too close and she had reversed into and over my bonnet because of that . No apology ! Small gouge and made it side slightly lopsided.

And another in same steet, I think a delivery van had tried to to a taxi like u turn and really gently pushed against the door .. outcome a perfect crease all along the door , no scratches . New door panel And £300 excess !.

Been for a couple of quotes today. Looking between £70 -£80 to fix.

One of them said the front bumper will need to come off to do it. Not sure that's needed??

Not a bad price for you to get piece of mind. Bumper off? Can't see why?

While waiting on what to do with this scuff. I had this touch up set laying around the garage

So l thought it can not look any worse or do any damage. So had a go at touching it up with this.

Obviously you can still see it and was not expecting this to be a complete fix. Just a temporary fix for now.

Thanks, going to keep it like this.

Not wasting any money getting it fixed.

With my last car I let it accumulate a few "war wounds" and then got them all done at the same time along with a mop polish. I didn't think it was worth spending money on every minor imperfection as they happened.
