I use to be on H&R lowering springs but am now on Bilstein B16 coilovers. I found the springs sat slightly too low for me on the front, rear was fine. One thing to bear in mind with lowering springs is the oem shocks are pretty poor so ideally if your going for lowering springs get some Bilstein B8 shocks OR just go to a b14 or b16 coilovers kit and you won’t have any faff. You can adjust the height till your hearts content and with the b16 adjust the stiffness to a ride that suits you.

If you have a mk1 RS3 then forge is arguably the best/most recommended for our platform and 8V RS3 recommend the Wagner FMIC.

For stage 2 just gut the oem downpipe to save you some money as you won’t gain much from an aftermarket Downpipe.

iv already got the pipes ordered for front and secondary decats...but thanks for the suggestion,,also in regards to the springs i have no also ordered them lol as they do look good but totaly understand the ride will not be the best..iv gone for a 25mm drop at front so hoping it will not be to bad..i know there is a 30mm drop available to..

in regards to the intercooler anyone got the Airtec? i have been looking at that one..also need an induction kit if anyone is selling please inbox me..thanks hoping to get to stage 2 very soon from fully stock

Get the forge honestly. Lifetime warranty and proven! I went from stock to stage 3 tte500 so you’ll be happy with the outcome.

wow thats crazy!!any for sale in regards to the forge intercooler?i dont mind a used one lol..exactly what would i need for a stage 3 bud? also where is best for remaps and prices etc

You may find one on eBay going, don’t stick anything on it though as it will affect your temps.
Stage 3 you’d need a turbo (eg hybrid) catback as original acts as a restriction. Uprated plugs, high pressure fuel pump (needed for stage 2), intake, full decat, uprated prop bolts.
MRC tuning custom map & dsg map - best in the business.
For stage 3 including labour and associated hardware your looking around £10k min

Downpipe will give you an error code which will need mapping out. What brand Downpipe is that? Looks weird

You will be able to drive it with the Downpipe on but just don’t boot it as en engine management will be lit. If I were you I’d just get your tuner to fit it before the remap

Hi mate,

Cheers

there are 3 rubber gromits which the metal tray sits into..one is a bit tricky to slide on.

yes H&r springs on this

Any spacers?

The little silicone pipe they sent me between the MAF and the Air Filter wouldnt fit, so they sent me a larger one which fitted fine.

I personally think its the heat shield, i have put some pics in my other post.
