What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

finished the paint and bits on the S4 blades , so hopefully fit them before Friday, also dropped the my alloys of at the refurbers yesterday for a colour change, hopefully also back and on by Friday.

(Technically not today) More like last week... fitted the medium weight ball to my @SportShifters.com Has made a big difference over the light weight ball. Gear changes are effortless and much more enjoyable :racer:

First day off in a while so decided to treat the old girl to an exterior clean and new oil catch can. Ignore how dirty the engine/bay is, that's a job for next week along with oil, filter and valve cover gasket change.

@Ash_mtb I wanted a Avant SE in Dolphin Grey but there was only one about when I was looking to buy and it was cat C, had 100k on it and was still up for £6.5k!

@Just Rob. ha ha, it is on my list mate.

Had an update on my turbo recently. He's balancing the core then assembling the unit this week so should be out for delivery some time next week, fingers crossed

The day mine came up for sale i'd put a deposit on by the evening lol. Darker colours allways look better imo and at the time i could only find decent condition silver ones. Quartz greys a nice shade for em too!
What turbo have you started with bud and what route are you going for tuning?

Attempted to fit my Forge recirculating DV this morning. However, as I pulled the plastic clip to detach the wirin harness it literally disintegrated in my hand. Was really brittle.

Ordered a new one which should be here Saturday. Will try again on my next day off!

giv em a good shove in first then push the clip, never broke one yet lol

Have you got a guide to this...........
No might try and take a few pic when i do the next door but its took ages inbetween days off and **** weather and other bits and bobs. I would almost say its not worth the hassle of doing to other that like the look of it.

Got the tune finalized after replacing the injectors, intake manifold, and PRV. Pulls real nice and hard and it makes me happy.

Nice figures there mate. You've done well with that build

Theyve done a nice job mapping that!

Thanks. It’s a nice drive and Simon is a good tuner. He pushes it hard but keeps it safe if you know what I mean.

After speaking with him after picking up the car he’s pretty convinced that a K-04 hybrid is the way to go. He mentioned a company called TTE. I looked at their website last night and it’s pretty interesting stuff. I would say for drivability and for real put you in your seat power the K-04 is a good turbo on his platform with proper tuning.

I may think about the switch down the road but I’m “satisfied” for now. Just some maintenance items such as clutch and fuel pump. I also have some suspension parts I want to change but those will have to wait as well.

Just had time before the rain came down again to give the old bus a wash and dry, also finally fitted the s4 blades , they look really nice but paint finish is not really 100% for me so may get them redone properly at a later date but will be fine for now.
some crappy pics attached but you get the idea.

They are a lot wider martin than the s-line blades , especially the rears ....not easy to see it really with the black but very noticeable in the flesh.
I was let down on the sale martin, the guy promised me he wanted them and would be hear but never turned up.......anyway decided to just get them refurbed a different colour instead as I know they fit ok and do look nice.
I was due to pick up the 4 on Friday but was held up in traffic so wont be until tomorrow now, the ones on the car now are the spare and 3 others in had for emergencies..lol

new colour is Audi Platinum silver.

best I can do for now chap but you can see they are a lot wider, i'd say the end of the front door s4 blade is as wide as the end of the rear door s-line blade, and the rear s4 door blade at least double the width of the same s-line blade.
