Facelift Post Pics Of Your Facelift RS3 8V In Here

Before the RS3 I’ve never really looked into Audi’s before, as soon as I knew I wanted one I was set on having Nardo... was plesantly surprise when I first seen it was a free option :icon thumright:

Not sure what colour this is, doesn't look like the catalunya red.

Piemontred? Just seen the same colour posted in the “Exclusive Colours” thread.

I found another picture of it. It says its Cherry Red.

There's also this green that I've never seen before.

Looks great, can't wait for mine to arrive, virtually the same spec.
How long was your overall waiting time ?

Thanks,
Ordered mine 4/4/18
Build date 14/5/18

Wicked! Keep an eye out on the Audi tracker, your car may start earlier than the original build date as mine did this.

Will post more pictures once I get the car back next week from the PPF treatment.

This brown orange one seems exclusive too.

Also this strange green.

Here's some aero upgrades available.

love that vented hood from revozport....hard to find any pics of it being done yet...Hong Kong company I think....that sportback RS3 looks the dogs!

Those RS5 wheels look good on the RS3.

I wonder if it’s worth getting some - there are some 19” replicas available for £800 on eBay.

The OEM are 20” and not sure if they would fit or what they would do to the ride.

After only 8 weeks my RS3 finally arrived at the dealers yesterday and picked her up this evening. Found out that it was a previously ordered allocated dealer car of which was changed to my spec, how lucky was I !!

Oooooft v keen! Looks like there’s a spoiler for the sport back, can’t see it on their website either. Will need to email. Bonnet looks sweet but that will be 1000 plus. Emailed asking for price list. Rear spoiler and the side skirts would be superb.

That green looks very similar to the Viper Green launch colour that the Omani plated RS3 Saloon launch car was painted. Alternatively, it looks very very similar to Porsche Signal Green so it could also be that.

The brown you posted is almost certainly Ipanema Brown which has been an Audi colour for quite a while now, there's always at least one lunatic who specs it on each S/RS model. I like it but resale will take a huge hit.

The green saloon I'm not entirely sure what that colour is. I'm not sure it's an Audi colour but does looke quite similar to Porsche Black Olive, although I could be wrong.

So uhh, someone did this to his RS3.

Lol I think this looks better than many of the mods others have done on here - its just some wheels and they are at least eye catching.

I am wondering how the saloon would look with the black traditional RS alloy wheels as on @Allan S car above?!

Better or worse than the standard alloys...

So new A1 was announced. I'm afraid the next gen A3/S3/RS3 will very likely have no MMI wheel and touchscreen only infotainment system. It looks very similar to the Golf and Polo systems to me, at least the air con controls are still separate and not touchscreen. You can see it in the video here or the pictures:

Of course it will have no MMI wheel - just like every new Audi so far - A6,7,8 and now the A1.

I think the only reason it doesn’t have touch screen climate is because on the A1 thats too expensive to be worth it. I am sure the new A3 will have touch screen climate controls.

And I honestly believe (with the exception of finger prints) they are better in every way.

I was hoping that the lower end cars would stick with the retractable MMI screen and MMI wheel but improved to save costs. My main problem with touchscreen is using it whilst driving. They aren't as responsive as physical buttons (or modern smartphones), you don't have the tactile feedback where you can do something without looking so you have to take your eye off the road to check and with touchscreen only cars, you find doing some things take longer than they should because they're hidden behind menus and sub menus (like in a Tesla or new Porsches for example).

Yup... I really don't like touch screens in cars. It takes far too much attention to use. I don't have any problems with navigating the Audi MMI. I can do it with my eyes shut. Flick a switch goes between nav, radio, media, just easy.

Also, hand writing recognition on the MMI wheel I find useful so I can scribble in destinations into the nav while driving.
