@X3man - Can't find the link. Its some where deep in the detailing section of ASN Nev
However, it did say BSD was safe to use on any ceramic coatings
I'm not totally convinced, and never have been TBH, at ceramic product manufacturers claims
As you are aware Nev some of them are even quoting 5 years life on a ceramic coating without any maintenance, really ...
Spray on buff off....better buy it before its sold out mate
Early start for me today, with a few hours gardening (before it got too warm) and filling up the paddling pool to keep the kids cool/amused for the day (you can just about make out little Jimbob ready to take a massive run up dive in, lol).

Then chilled out for a bit with a BBQ lunch and a couple of cold Peroni’s while the record Bank Hols temperature did its thing. Hit 30 degrees here today
After a wee mid afternoon shady nap in the deckchair (ok, so it was more than 2 Peroni’s), and when the front of the house was nice and shady, turned my attention to the missus MINI. Hadn’t touched it in about 2 months, and it was gopping. A tribe of spiders had a rave on it at some point and I couldn’t remember what the wheels looked like.

Then:
- PW Rinse
- BH Auto Foam and rinse
- BH Auto Wash and rinse
- TAC Systems Tar Zero and BH Korrosol paint decontamination and rinse
- BH Auto Wash and rinse
- Dry
- Full interior detail (vacuum, wipe down dash, steering wheel etc with damp MF spritzed with Surfex HD. Interior glass clean)
- Wheels (Surfex HD and Tuff Shine tyre brush on the rubber, wash wheels, dry wheels, then hit with BH Auto Wheels (iron fall-out remover) and wash again, rinse, dry
- Dress tyres with TAC Systems Tyre Gel (which is ok, but I’m willing it to run out so I can get some more Gyeon Tire)
- Seal paint with Sonax BSD. I want to NOT like this product, but for every reason I don’t like it, there’s another reason I really do. I don’t use it on the S3, but the Chili Red paint on my missus’ Cooper freakin’ loves this stuff, so I keep a bottle on my shelf and I always end up really happy with the results (which last a couple of months - it is durable!). This stuff polarises opinion (even my own, lol), but @ under 7 bangers for 750ml it is one I keep coming back to for her car.
Results as follows...

Barring a bit too much RINSING lolAlways love your write ups @Jimbob76, and yet again you have not disappointed . Looks like a pretty productive day, and a little power nap chuckled in there .
The pool looks inviting, the Mini looks stunning Interested that you wash off the wheels and then auto wheel?
Can’t fault the rest of the process. BH auto wash is top stuff, as is the foam. I tried AG Polar Foam (Amazon had a deal the other week) and I thought I would try and get over my AG phobia by trying it. It is pretty good I have to say, but still not anything like BH Autofoam, Gyeon Foam, or AngelWax Cleanliness (I have all of these . Gyeon Tire is the biz, as is Gyeon Tire Express for a quick top up. I know I am a Gyeon fan, but Tire really does last unlike any other I have tried (and trust me when I say I have tried a few)
Even This morning's dew is beading on the roof of my car lol
Yer joking wae this camera lolPic?
Yer joking wae this camera lol
Haha, thought you might say that. Phone shopping time, whilst you still have some £’s left before you spend it all on Fireball
During this morning's commute to work ...l drove through a light rain shower...the rate of water dispersion off the bonnet was exceedingly fast....makes gyeon wet coats beading look stagnant, some slight beading left on the roof was almost 360 degrees spherical....defo a bead monsterPic?
Just been told some barsteward bought my 500ml bottles of coating wax...better no be anyone on here lol....had to resort to 3 of 250mls instead...

@Jimbob76 - MINI looking stunning mate
Just cannot beat BSD & the price makes it a no brainer IMHO
Oh & don't mention the beading
Some so called detailers just don't know what they are missing TBH
Remember, if its a cheap product it doesn't mean its aone
Sorry mate, but will do you a deal in one of them, £50 bangers for it.
Always love your write ups @Jimbob76, and yet again you have not disappointed .

Cheers pal - must admit I had a little dip in the paddling pool to cool off after the MINI detail!
I normally wouldn’t wash the wheels before hitting them with iron fall out remover, but the MINI’s wheels were so caked in **** that it would just have been a waste of BH Auto Wheels to cut through dust and mud (when regular soap will get rid of this) - my logic was get the regular crud off first, then use the bleeding fall-out remover to shift brake dust that was still bonded to the wheels and not waste product. Make sense?
My replacement quick release short trigger gun arrived today - missed it yesterday, felt weird/a step backwards having to use the long lance with no hose swivel again. New one is MUCH better quality. Nice one in2detailing for great customer service when replacing the ‘old’ spring clip version that died after just a few weeks
fingers crossed the weather clears enough @cuke2uJust might, might, get to use my quick trigger gun today, if it stops raining today that is. Idea conditions aside from the wet stuff, cloudy and no wind, I'm all setup to go...
Not very often nowadays l come across a detailing product...that blows me away...in everyway...but l did Today
I Used Fireball's Nano Coat and l can honestly say its by far the best detailing product l have ever EVER used in my detailing years...its that good, l have ordered another 3 bottles of it before it goes out of stock...its pure magic...leaves a superb glass finish...easy to apply..it smells and looks, feels the same as any ceramic coating that l have used in the past..also Nanolex Final Finish is by far the best quick Detailer l have used...amazing slick glass finish....12/10 it gets, yeah its expensive but it's worth every penny...l can't recommend these 2 products highly enough,l will take some photos later once the sun dips....down and try and post them...as l have trouble uploading photos on here
Some serious comments on your gear @jassyo06. Your pictures do back it up though!Go get some....mate ye wont regret it....l would post photos but all you'd end up seeing is a alloy wheel or a door mirror...as l would have to crop the pics severely one of the reasons l cancelled my Gold membership...
There ye go via tapatalk
@cuke2u - If it was smeary, its over applicationGot there in the end, first proper clean for probably over two months. Not sure about the Turtle Wax Sealant though, unless I was doing something very wrong, but no different to the d&d I usually use, it was very smeary.

Very good, have some seepage from the adaptor I changed, so will need to remove it and apply tape. Otherwise very good the only issue being, I think, with the K4, I can't adjust the power as this is built into the lance.Thoughts on the short gun?
Yes I might have over applied it, I was getting short on my physical reserves by then, my legs were beginning to go, so probably rushing things, including myself...@cuke2u - If it was smeary, its over application
Whereas I normally do 2 sprays per panel with QD's with the Turtle Wax I was only doing a single spray per panel. This way I had no smearing whatsoever. (I'm sure I said this in my mini review of this product)
I've noticed on DW that quite a few are using the TW as a drying aid. No smearing that way either
Try Nanolex Final Finish when your due to replenish yer kit...best quick Detailer l have used and that includes DnDGood beading though:

The green adaptor worked very well though, thanks for the recommendation....
