Cam Belt & Service

Afternoon guys,

can anyone recommend a mechanic to do a cam belt and full service on my s3, before it gets re-mapped?

I'm based in Surrey (woking/guildford area) and Audi quoted me the best part of £1200

Don't mind paying it, but would prefer not too !!!!

Any help appreciated

looking at amd woking, however they have there equipment away in Geneva at the moment.

good thinking bat man, all booked in for next Friday....

Got the car back form AMD on Saturday afternoon, Simon seems great and very knowledgeable. exhaust fitted, and service & cambelt all in for 850, which can't moan to much about....

although apparently, the car has already been remapped???? seems strange as it had standard exhaust and air filter, and there's was no history on it in the service invoices. however he didn't charge me for it which was good.

got a few more tweaks that need sorting like high pressure. fuel pump, and couple of niggley things, only other thing for concern was the steering rack, apparently they're £1200 without labour... ouch.

all in all very satisfied with AMD woking

You don't need any hardware mod's for a stage 1, you can still get big gains even using a paper filter.
