It has demanded attention from behind an RS badge since 1994, and thanks to a new five-strong collection of ultra-limited edition Audi Sport road cars all eyes will again be on the fittingly intense shade of blue that perfectly set the tone for the genre-defining Avant RS 2 almost three decades ago.
Nogaro Blue, named after a French race circuit with Grand Prix pedigree, has become something of a hallmark of Audi Sport. To acknowledge its place in the high performance division‘s colourful history the evocative hue forms the basis of new Audi Sport Nogaro Edition versions of the RS 4 Avant, RS 5 Coupé, RS 5 Sportback, RS 6 Avant and TT RS Coupé. Limited to just 25 UK specification examples apiece, and priced from £67,765 OTR, the very special editions feature an exclusive and exceptionally comprehensive fixed specification, and are now available in the UK for Audi devotees who are sufficiently quick off the mark.

Noggy is a GREAT colour. But could just be spec'd as an exclusive paint option? Not sure I'd be prepared to pay the premium they'd be asking for one of these (very) limited edition models. It was the Noggy B5 RS4 Avant, 20 years ago, that got me properly interested in Audi - it just looked fantastic for it's time. It is a flat paint colour (as opposed to metallic or pearl), but does look absolutely cracking in the flesh...

 

Exclusive colours on Audi cars have become somewhat diluted in the last few years...Audis fault l guess as they are now offering a wider range of paint colours than ever before and some are very similar to Nogaro blue ....no doubt these limited Ed's will have Nogaro blue interior stitching embroidered in every area that can be ....but would you notice this the TTRS can be configured to have blue interior stitching everywhere right now

What great marketing - effectively a TTRS Sport for the price of a Vorsprung- so that’s a no brainier then!

Blackburn Audi have been advertising one for the last month and it’s still not sold despite it now being discounted to a very reasonable £65k
