Not sure how I forgot to post this on the forum! But here it is anyway - our new Audi A3 vorsprung.
Thanks, always wanted to know where that photo location was - happy I finally found it!Like the wheels photography with the London back drops really well put together why did Audi delete the rear view camera
I know! When I first saw the press photos it was the Daytona grey with those wheels!Sell me you wheels those are the ones I want *** lol
Not had any rattles in both of my cars, although I've heard others say they get rattles near the tweeter areas.I guess this is for all A3 owners, but does any trim or items rattle / vibrate that is not suppose to be in the car? Those little things drive me nuts!
Haven't got my A3 yet, but hopefully nothing will. 3 previous cars 1 did rattle, the other 2 didn'tNot had any rattles in both of my cars, although I've heard others say they get rattles near the tweeter areas.
Where is it rattling in yours?
It's weird - The reversing camera is still part of the C&S Pack which you can't spec on the Vorsprung because it has everything anyway - Very strange decision - really don't understand what is going on with Audi at the momentLike the wheels photography with the London back drops really well put together why did Audi delete the rear view camera
Yes, I checked this on the configurator as I'm our car on order comes with this as part of C&S so was worried. Still there though, and dealer has confirmed everything should be built as ordered as far as they're aware (including matrix lights). Really strange to leave that off the Vorsprung. I know it's a relatively small thing, but I think I'd take issue with being told my car was the same price as when I ordered but not the same spec. It's weird - The reversing camera is still part of the C&S Pack which you can't spec on the Vorsprung because it has everything anyway - Very strange decision - really don't understand what is going on with Audi at the moment

I know you don't have the button to close the boot, but can you close it on the remote or waving your foot underneath - I can on my sportback plus I have the button
Still don't get why the Virtual Cockpit Plus isn't standard on the S3
Full driver assistance pack doesn't really interest me especially at an £1800 upgrade and S3 Vorsprung £7750 more than the standard S3 and unfortunately you end up with that Big Steering Wheel as no Flat Bottom Option with the Driver Assistance Pack which is a disgrace especially on an S3
Wonder if S3 Vorsprung includes reversing camera or not.

According to the configurator you get power operated tailgate and it opens electrically and closes including foot gesturehey, no only open it - I wonder if it is because the saloon boot does not have hydraulic mechanisms and auto opens anyway (it did on my edition 1 when I pressed the key) as the boot is really light.
I'm guessing on the sportback there is a full mechanism that extends and retracts the hydraulics.
100% on the virtual cockpit, I think the smaller one should have been outlawed! - really cannot believe was not available at least as an optional upgrade.
Nope not on there either according to the memo that was sent to me.
To be honest the memo was specific about the 360 camera, but when I checked with Audi they also said the normal reverse camera was not on the car and its not listed anyway as being available.
It could be the reason the vorsprung was initially pulled from sale, maybe something strange happens with all the electronic upgrades + a reverse camera?
Yep - I just think its them being stupid and lazy with their wording (mentioned it in the video that its not the first time they got the wording wrong lol)According to the configurator you get power operated tailgate and it opens electrically and closes including foot gesture
True, but the fact it's in the explore models spec I feel that it should be thereYep - I just think its them being stupid and lazy with their wording (mentioned it in the video that its not the first time they got the wording wrong lol)
When I re-read the website, I thought here we go again - just like the electric seats
But from what I have seen no saloon that has the power tailgate option has the closing function (so it doesn't feel like a miss-build) - just Audi being lazy again
I'll ask the question but am expecting its not available on the saloon and its incorrect wording (I think they just copied and pasted the description). Lets see what they come back with -from what I can see from a quick browse is even the A4 saloon works in the same fashion.True, but the fact it's in the explore models spec I feel that it should be there
A3 Saloon Vorsprung
Specification in addition or replacement to S line
Power-operated tailgate. Luggage compartment lid opens and closes electrically - The boot lid can be opened electrically by pressing a button on the vehicle key, in the driver's door or on the soft-touch button on the boot lid handle. Closing the luggage compartment lid is just as easy and convenient as opening it: simply press the button on the inside of the luggage compartment lid, the button in the driver's door or the button on the vehicle key. A closing aid makes manual closing easier when it is necessary. The opening angle of the luggage compartment lid can be limited for low ceiling heights. A foot gesture (by kicking motion) at the rear is sufficient to unlock, open and close the luggage compartment lid.
Not so bad then. Frustrating, but at least you weren't ripped off. They reduced the price by £600 for removing the 360 camera (just double checked) before I locked the order in - I cant really complain there
