Re-Uphostry Advice?

I picked up a PFL A3 as a runabout a while back, and it has grey alcantara seats that are a bit unusual, and a bit worn. I'd like to have the front seat bottoms recovered, but Audi want about £1200 a side for the upholstry! I'm wondering if anyone knows of aftermarket options, or how to accomplish this for a bit less money? I'd replace the seats with a used set, but I've never seen a matching set for sale and I wouldn't want to change the style.

Anyone have experience with upholstery or upholsterers?

I haven't had to do anything myself but at that price I'd definitely say a local trimmer would be more cost effective and likely be able to match what you have.
