Given the design of the front grill is there any way of fitting fog lights to the new 8Y?

It might be worth mentioning that, depending on the spec of A3, fog lights are replaced by an “all weather” mode for the headlights. If I remember correctly, all A3s with LED headlights have this mode (matrix units definitely do).

Ahh that must be that middle button in between the headlight controls on matrix cars. Saying that I've only properly used my fog lights in previous cars (my Volvo didn't have them, but it was never foggy enough) maybe twice where I couldn't even see a car 3-4 carlengths in front on a 40mph road and had to use the Sat Nav to give me a heads up on which way the road would be turning. Why are you looking to retrofit them? Does it get plenty foggy where you are at?

Fog lights wtf who needs them....but l know BMW still keep them on some of their cars but that's due to their headlight design language LED type may l add, the Mrs 2018 Fiesta has fog lights never used but the car uses them as cornering lights and considering they are halogen bulbs with a 3000k colour temp they might as well not exist

Audi class the cornering lights as all weather lights in their led headlights units in both Non Matrix and Matrix headlights it's the lense closest to front grill in the headlight unit enclosure even more noticeable when you come to a marked T/4 way junction it reads the road marking as both cornering lights are activated on arrival to the road markings....doe'snt work on unmarked junctions
Matrix headlights should only operate when there is no road lighting but it does'nt work that way all the time as when the road lighting still has those orange sodium powered lamp posts that have a very low light output the matrix units will still perform
