Nope. Looks like only part of comfort and sound pack. Annoying on top spec trim. Will be getting it retrofitted though.

Build date was week commencing 12th April though I suspect sooner as it was in the uk port waiting for transport to dealer on 16th April. Collected 27th April.

That is frustrating, may or may not be on the spec sheet but is shown clearly in the images under the Park Assist tab on the page below for example.

Keen to know about this too as I just ordered and noticed this missing from the spec sheet. Also had a brief look at retrofit options and they aren't cheap.
Pretty crazy in this day and age that something like this isn't standard across the range for a premium brand. Same goes with parking sensors.

First post here as I just got my python yellow S3 Vorsprung yesterday . FYI, yep it's got enough technology to keep me reading the manual for weeks but no, it does not have a reversing camera . Baffled. According to my dealer it was built 4-5 weeks ago (ordered first week in February ) so pretty much up to date.

That pretty much confirms as of now there's no car that has it fitted.
What's strange is the dealership that the YouTube subscriber is getting it through confirmed the issue to him and said they will retrofit it if it comes without the camera.
He gets his at the end of the month so let's wait and see
Came across this video yesterday evening of a base S3 uploaded at the end of March 2021 by Carlisle Audi, which has a reverse camera. The presenter states it is part of the Comfort and Sound pack so probably not retrofitted.

Thanks bud, that is the standard s3 (chrome styling) so it does have it when expected with the comfort and sound.
The 360 camera on the vorsprung was dropped roughly December just before the cars became available to order.
It is strange that they never gave the standard camera as an alternative but let's see if some vorsprungs turn up with it in the next few weeks
The issue is that the Camera is part of the Comfort and Sound pack which you can't spec on a Vorsprung because it has everything on it already - The reverse Camera should be standard on the Vorsprung really but that's Audi for you
Interesting discussion, I’ve placed an order on 16th April for A3 Vorsprung 35TFSi saloon, Daytona Grey with storage pack. Have no news yet on build date but not in a great hurry. Wasn’t aware about the reverse camera so be interesting to see what transpires. Dealer not sure. New member on here currently over on the dark side with a BMW 330d xdrive 260bhp but will no longer need a 6 pot. Looking forward to the change

Spec‘d up to the Vorsprun firstly because as you say, you get a lot of bang for your buck and it looks amazing, but also having had a Head Up display in my current car for the last 4 years it was an absolute must in my next. Will miss my heated steering wheel though but you can’t have everythingCongrats on the order! Dealer just sent me latest spec for the s3 vorspung they confirmed no camera why do that but can have on standard makes no sense at all to me stops me buying it near 50k car without is a joke.
So, turns out I can’t reverse without a camera haha
Haven’t hit anything just find it so convenient to look at the camera. Especially with 5 other vehicles in the driveway. I’m going to get one retrofitted. Or maybe look into doing it myself depending on coding etc.

Yep definitely a strange ommission. There was rumours that it was missed off because some bright spark forgot to tick the reverse camera box when they removed the 360 degree camera.
But yet to see one have it on there from factory which would suggest the misbuild.
Currently looking into retrofit options that I could share with viewers of the channel to help out.
I just received an email fromAudi UK confirming the Vorsprung does come with a reversing camera .

Yep they've literally just changed the configurator and increase the price by £130ish.
I wonder whether people who ordered before this change and are waiting on their orders will receive it as there a price difference now.

Yep definitley I would urge anyone waiting on their cars to confirm this and get it in writing that it will be included.
£135 is much cheaper than the retrofit option
Had a similar thing happen back in the day when I ordered a VW Polo SEL and at the time, the headlights were halogen across the range unless you spec'd Xenon. They then updated the spec from a specific build week to include the LED lights on the SEL as the standard spec at no extra cost to existing orders. It was all just luck of when you ordered and when your build week was. The dealer also at the time explained they don't typically have a mixture of one markets configuration for the same trim on the line at one time, which logically makes sense as that would probably be a logistical nightmare, but who really knows.
I would assume this is similar given it's VAG but times have changed a bit since then. I've purchased on a lease so don't have a direct way of checking an order with Audi, but it might be possible for someone to find out from them when the spec changes come in. I'm not expecting delivery until end of September so fingers crossed.

Very annoying to finally have the black badges standard and the reversing camera, however I think the 360 degree cameras should be standard over just reversing.
I’ve been quoted £400 inc vat for supply and fitting of the reversing camera so not too bad.

Agreed, I think retrofit is the only way forward.
Is the kit you've been quoted genuine Audi? From what I've researched most retrofit kits are third party and plug and play rather than requiring coding that the genuine ones require.
Spoke with my leasing company and they’ve got confirmation from Audi that my car will be coming with the new features as standard. Currently expecting delivery end of September, having ordered second week of May.
That’s sounds good for me. Ordered 16th April with a projected build date sept/Oct so hopefully will have new spec. What is it with main dealers. Have had 3 previous new BMW’s and each time ended up chasing for updates which annoys me when you’re spending £30-40K. I’ve rang and texted my Audi dealer 3 times this week and still no response on spec confirmation. Must be in their DNA

Apparently the coding stuff will be wiped if there is ever a software update done to the car (which we know there are a few due lol)
