Very glitchy configurator. Last time I was on it and chose exclusive paint all the body panels disappeared  but they seem to have fixed that now.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but Audi Poland have a really nice 3D configurator on their site.
I'll have look at the polish site later mate

**UK LAUNCH EDITION???**

Looks like it has a pan roof!
I though launch Editions would only be Red or Green?

So far, it seems it has the comfort & sound pack, drivers assistant pack, pan roof, sports ex, carbon inserts for interior, black wheels, matrix lights - probably missed a few things off but looks promising! Cant wait even more now :hubbahubba:

Just been on the configurator not the most informative to be honest but what l did notice maybe its a glitch in the configurator but if you choose a exclusive paint colour the black roof is deleted ???

i don’t think that’s a glitch - I’m sure I saw that somewhere in one of the specs that when you select exclusive paint it omits the black roof. But then again if you pay for exclusive don’t you want the entire covered in it lol

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I actually do like it. Design fits better with the new interior in my opinion.

im with you on that one pal, absolutely love it - imo a lot better than the 8v FL, most who say they don't like it seem to be owners of the 8v :haha::icon thumright:

Looks like Pzeros again at the front. Big rim protector again.

I could be wrong but looks from that photo that the 'RS' mats you used to get are not present.

New style wheel is much better, from a former 8v owner, but it would be better if it was flat bottomed

but that is the point !
Flat bottomed looks sportier and is what every RS model should have.
Round bottom wheels just don’t look as good.
If you’re getting a launch edition then you’re gonna have to put up with it regardless ... it just would not sit well with me as its the main contact point with the car and you see it constantly.

hence I put my money where my mouth is and went carbon edition to swerve it. It was a big concern of mine, seriously, enough to know it would bug the hell out of me.

Wonder why the Audi rings (front & rear) plus the RS badging are not black ?

launch edition thing or dropped it for the uk ?

I’m pretty sure most of that is just standard LE spec. I could be wrong but I think the only option I can see on it is the assistance pack. It’s not a bad spec and I actually don’t mind it in the white.

The steering wheel is a comfort and sound pack thing.

Agree with you though - the flat bottomed wheel is a bit of a fast Audi “thing” so that is a shame… especially now I’m used to it - at first with the flat bottom wheel I almost kept missing the wheel as there was a “chunk” missing

I thought the round steering wheel is apart of the Assistance pack ? or is it different for the LE cars ?

I never notice the flat bottom at all when i'm driving, you only notice it when your getting into the car surely?

You’re correct, you can spec sound and comfort with the flat bottom but not the assistance so I’d say that’s definitely what it is.

Steering wheel is a drivers assistance thing, it's to do with the round one being a capacitance wheel so it knows if you let go of the steering wheel, with ACC and Lane Assist you could drive for miles fast asleep :( I dont know what it does when you let go though?

It better not be a part of the C&S pack. It’s the first time I’ve specced it.

Can anyone confirm the C&S pack comes with flat bottom?

If it’s like other VAG cars it just pings up with a message saying you need to put your hands back on the wheel and if you don’t comply after a while it’ll stop the car on a controlled fashion.

Not if the configurator is correct for the RS3 and all the other models too.

l think the 8y isnt that photogenic when its not snapped by a pro....especially from the front end you just have to go to the thread Post photos of your 8y to see this
if it where me who was desperate for a RS3 LE and colour was irrelevant i'd be on to Portsmouth right now..but it's probably sold by now...

l changed all my silver emblems/badges on the TTS to black £235, Audi will charge more for than that simply because they can...it's an RS well worth it though
