It's not been removed from the configurator yet, but that doesn't mean anything really.

I hope this isn't a start of things where they just start removing stuff from the spec you've signed up for just to get cars out quicker.
It looks as if this the case a lot car manufacturers are doing the same as they are simply losing millions of £££ ...because they can't get cars to customers

The RS3 8V has the nicer front end, that black grille surround is just way over the top IMO, as is the black honeycomb on the bumper.View attachment 244977

It suits British Gas blue very well indeed.
I wasn't sure of it to begin with but the black grill surround is a grower. I think the 8V just looks very dated now in comparison.
I'll sit on the fence until I see it in Daytona, the colour I'd spec if I was to change. Waited for the FL for the 8V, could well be doing the same here for the 8Y.
Do agree, the 8V is long in the tooth now, more so the interior. They still look superb though. Saw one the other day in Nardo, still looked superb.
Nor me, its a gimmick. My brother has the 8R, never ever been intrigued to try the drift mode.
I mean at this point the only difference between a Vorsprung and a Launch Edition is that the Launch Edition has a Phone Box Light and the Vorsprung has an electric tailgate.
If they yank the electric tailgate from the Vorsprung the Launch Edition will actually be higher specified, Audi UK are just making it up as they go along/having a laugh.
Also tbh I'd rather have a wireless charger than an electric tailgate, just for whatever various reasons you can't buy a launch edition until probably everyone starts offloading their showroom/demo cars in 90+ days.

Just heard from Audi today that the RS3 Vorsprung 360 view as been deleted and replaced with just a rear view camera and they have given a £500 refund. This is all because of the parts shortages. Its becoming laughable they allow you to order, I still haven't got a build week and this is the second item that they have deleted. I ordered a Vorsprung to retain value but its likely that mine will not have all the features. I am so annoyed with Audi I wish they didn't accept orders if they cant build the car!
The launch edition has the electric tailgate too lol think I’ve seen it on a video and it’s also on myaudi app for my car…

If that’s true and yours just isn’t a misbuild then the Launch Edition is actually better specified now than a Vorsprung lol

I’m 21 and don’t even think I’ll use it myself tbh. End up in a lamppost so can’t see many older people doing it either maybe one time in an empty car park when it’s snowing lol
Phone box lite may be dropped from the LE… not clear on that just yet though. I believe the LE has the elec tailgate included.
The disparity in what’s being done for the uk market vs euro is starting to grate on me now… if there are any compromises to be made it’s uk cars that seem to have to take it on the chin.
I would have thought the uk market was one of their strongest too so very crap they are dealing with things in this way.

I was offered that exact car but chose the saloon instead. Disappointing to see the first car flipped
Which dealer supplied it?
I was told I categorically couldn’t buy a Launch Edition and now there’s already one flipped. Couldn’t make this up.

I agree the auto trader etc will be littered with them at crazy money before we know it .
Shame as its a spec I'd go for but not at that price
I’m not too sure as dealer could take LE from other dealers (mines from another dealer) but there was 2 Kemora SB from the list I could chose from and they’re also in cheshire
When I checked a few days ago there were absolutely none in the country, there was one somewhere on route to a dealer but they wouldn’t release it at all.
