I think silver is a great colour, my old mans new RS6 is in Floret silver...absolutely stunning!!

I had a MK7 R many moons ago, a year or so after they 1st came out, and when I saw my first Reflex Silver R i wished I'd gone for that, was another corker.

If piped in sound is an amplification of the actual car noise I'm not fussed. They're that well insulated these days they need to so something.

Best thing to try is dropping is dropping rear seats and drive like that as a test, in my s3 the difference in volume is noticeable and helps establish what is real and what it's fake (or amplified).

I see on latest M3 they are also piping in sounds, will be interesting when more get their cars and check VCDS etc, as would be surprised if there is no enhancement at all, even if only pumping in some of the sound

its the carbon edition and in person is absolutely gorgeous. Most you see are nardo, black or Navarra blue. When he said he was going floret silver like a few of his past Audi’s I was unsure...it’s an absolute Head Turner and the silver shows how aggressive some of the lines are. Yet to let me drive lol

I bet that would work on the 8Y RS3 as well.

Question is would anyone pay 2.4K when other colours are available that look even nicer.

The reason no one else has commented on the sound being artificially enhanced in the cabin is because no one else has an RS3 and drives it everyday.

It sounds very different inside the car than the 8V. And I’m not talking about less pops and bangs. It is not the same and the only explanation is that they are enhancing it inside.

That would be a good topic for your video - confirming what is producing / enhancing the noise.

Not just saying it sounds different from previous gen but actually confirming what the approach is that has been taken. Maybe Audi will tell you something different to what they’ve said to me to help you confirm.

No one else has mentioned it in their videos so that’s your unique content and would be a good insight…

It’s a tough call but I’d seriously consider an exclusive floret build ... but would probably still go racing mica for ultra exclusivity ... I think

I have an rs3 and drive it everyday and wouldn’t say there’s any fake noise pumped in but each to their own I did check OBD and there wasn’t any sign of it there either but if there is fake noise, app probably isn’t up to date for the new car yet

if there is fake noise, it’s not as noticeable as the likes of the R or GTI, had to turn it off on mine!

Each to their own and all but to me they've just ruined a brand new car! Having said that, the angle of the photo really shows off how much more of an angle there is to the rear of the car and it looks ace!!

All the YouTubers have mentioned the only difference in launch and Vorsprung is the 360 cameras lol…they removed the 360 cameras a few of weeks ago oh the Vorsprung also comes with memory seats! Clearly not done any research before going out

I was told yesterday that Vorsprung RS3's are being quoted as 12 month delivery times, they are saying this as a worse case scenario, if you add exclusive colour then it's going to be longer........
