A3/S3 delivery lead time?

Is it a 35tfsi or tdi, how do you find it?
It's a 35tfsi with comfort & sound pack. I've hardly had the chance to drive it much so far but it's been fun when I have.
The B&O sound isn't great, but having read a couple of threads on here then that's probably down to playing music via a Bluetooth connection.
Hopefully when I get a USB stick, or just connect the phone via USB it'll be fine.

Other than roof rails, it's exactly the same as I've ordered and waiting on. Have heard mixed views re B&O with same saying it's excellent, others not so good. Time will tell. Happy motoring.

I was also underwhelmed by the B&O on first use, but I think it's improved with a bit of use. I think it's decent now

Finally some good news. My car is built and on a ship to the UK! Lease company say I should have it approx end of December (fingers crossed!!). What sort of time is it taking for the ships to get over to the uk and is there anyway of tracking it a bit more accurately now I have a chassis number?

I took the order with my lease company around March but think the car had been on order since February. It's a 35 tfsi s tronic with no optional extras.

Mine has stayed the same. I signed my agreement months ago

Thanks.
My local dealer told me today that the prices will be up from January 1st, fir example they will be charching 600+€ for the comfort pack in the 30 tfsi while it was free when I ordered.
He also said it might not affect me which I doubt (as I doubt any date they tell me)
What a mess

I was able to see my car pre-delivery, as I was signing in all the paperwork, delivery is scheduled for the next week, thank you, it was a great journey!

Yeah I don’t have a build week ordered 2nd February it’s pants to say the least
I order mine mid March and don’t have a build week either. I’ve now reached the point where I’ve had enough with Audi. Most other brands can get me an alternative car in less than 9 months now, even though the parts shortage and delays are worse than when I originally ordered.
Audi are by far the worse car company I have ever dealt with. How they are able to keep taking orders, providing unrealistic time lines and then failing in fulfil orders is a a mystery. Absolutely shocking!!!!
Guess I’ll be shopping round this week for something else

I ordered a 35TFSI S-Line, C&S, 18" wheels, lumbar support with an auto box in May. It was delivered in September. I still don't know how looking at the nightmare some of you are suffering. I ordered through a broker who then used a JCT600 Audi dealer. Maybe that's Audi giving preferential treatment to what is probably a high turnover dealer. Who knows. I do feel very lucky though.
My broker also placed though JCT600 in mid Mar with an estimated delivery of June 21. As it stands I still don’t have a build week, never mind actual delivery.
After contacting Audi UK, I was informed that JCT had already used their allocated quota of cars for that period and therefore my car was put on a waiting list await a space in the build line. Basically, KCT have been selling customers vehicles with deliveries they cannot meet. Fuming

Totally agree and feel the same. Trouble is Audi have spun lie after lie re delivery time that I have now waited almost 10 months to get an estimated build week of 10. To add to my issue Audi wouldn't let.me extend my current PCP again, so now without a car. Even if I ordered something else I would be waiting. That said if something came I to stock I would have no hesitation in walking away from Audi, who treat customer with contempt.

B&O takes awhile (maybe 50 plus hrs of use) to settle and bed in. In the first couple of weeks it sounded rubbish for me (even from USB with high bitrate mp3). Lack of bass (wondered even if they forgot to put the sub at factory, but can't check as built into the boot insides) and no sliding of bass settings sub or bass helped. Thought at the time, now this was something I regretted selecting. Then one fine day after 2 weeks, a familiar song came on, and I realised, hey it sounds pretty damn good. And it remained ever since. It's like the system has finally decided, I've done my warm up and stretches, now I can do the full workout.
Oh just FYI the door speakers hardly seem to produce any vocals at all (that's normal for this system, it does vibrate though, so I know it def working), and most if not all vocals come from the 4 dash speakers. Much like how good 2 ways speakers work if you disconnect the high frequency cables, and left with low frequency 'grumbling' sounds only (door speakers). But when combined, they sound good.

I've been pushed back again - week 4 now. Ordered end of June.

That’s ridiculous, at least you’ve had an update. 2 months since my last one and that’s with me chasing.
Is that 2 months from your dealer?? Thankfully mine is pretty quick in replying. It's still crazy Audi UK have stopped their updates.

I’ve gone through a leasing company who are more than helpful but the dealership it’s coming from don’t seem to respond to anything from my lease company. Was so much easier when you could get updates via Facebook or Twitter.

I am finding the sound is to heavy from the speaker underneath the front window no matter what sound settings I adjust. Does not sound good as my old A5 cab. Tried turning off the 3d settings, however, just sounds very front speaker driven.

Some more good news my end. My lease company contacted me and I can arrange delivery from the 14th onwards. I’ve requested the 15th hopefully that gets confirmed

Really happy for you! Hopefully it arrives March time in a weird sort of way, new plate after the wait

Just had an update. My car is getting built next week. Ordered June 10th. What’s the turn around time from build to delivery?

What did you order? I'm at a loss as to why I will be more than a year from order to build. Ordered in March, estimated build week 10.
I've heard it takes 6 weeks or there about from build to delivery. No Christmas may impact on this. Enjoy your car when it comes

I’ve ordered a Edition 1, 35tfsi, S-tronic with Daytona Grey as the only option. They don’t appear to have any order in how they build cars. This was also the first update in nearly 2 months.

Only difference from mine is the colour. I had a Daytona Grey A4 and wanted a change, went for Tango red.
Let us know what you think when it comes. All the best

There really is no logic. @Nick James ordered his car 16 days before me. Yet I have an unconfirmed week of 3. Then @Rads was a whole 3 months before the both of us and has week 10?!?!?

It must be down to the dealers and their allocations of build slots.

Yip, agreed.

Has to be dealer allocation as I was April 8th order.

Build normally takes a week then 3-4 weeks delivery is what Iv been told previously.
So end of January potentially as if it’s build before Christmas I’m guessing they’ll be a delay with no movement over the Christmas period.

So I’ve just re checked my emails and it’s actually in the process of getting built. Getting my weeks mixed up.
